Great place for concerts. Get there early for good parking. During the Katie perry concert they changed the signs on the men's restrooms to women signs so there was more bathrooms for the women since there was more women there then men.
Spent the MLK weekend in Fargo and attended the Fight the Frost Event at the Fargodome. Such a great time with the grandchildren. The event was well organized with areas specific for little children (under 5) and older children as well. It was great to see so many families enjoying this great event. Good Job to the event planners!
I was there for the el Zagal circus, it was very organized and very nice and also it has so many facilities and wide parking lot. Safety was my concern with this big number of people and they provide a very much help and safety for everyone in need or asking question. Nice team work.
We were at a concert at the Fargo Dome. This is a typical venue for a concert. You'll find snacks and adult beverages just beer, but not enough security. We were surrounded by people who were overly served alcohol and someone was smoking pot around us, again, no security anywhere to be seen. We have been here before and will come here again for concerts and shows.
Big. Vendors charge too much. Vendors rude. Security were nice. Guest services nice. Great shows here. Will attend again.
charges for parking, parking far from venue, most show tickets overpriced, very incomfortable tight seating with narrow wooden seats. No decor to speak of, the whole place is grey concrete, dark, bathrooms are far away and difficult to find, entire layout is very confusing. Lots of steep stairs, cold metal railings, people are crammed in like sardines. Lots of problems with flooding and multi-million repairs. So distasteful atmosphere that I won't go to any shows there anymore. By the way, way overpriced.
Just saw a show here last night - great venue! They had soft cushy chairs setup on the ground, and great signage as to where to go for our seats. Not to long of lines to the bathrooms either - yeah! Love the Dome!
Great time at the Fargodome. The fans were great and the facilities were extremely well kept and clean.
I was at the Fargodome for the Shrine Bowl this past summer and it's a nice venue. It's a big building located near the NDSU campus, restaurants, and the airport. It's more of an oval shape rather than a dome. Friendly staff and an all-around good time. If there's ever a concert or other event I'm interested in at the Fargodome, I'd definitely go.
There are very few things to do in Fargo, ND. We spent 10 days at the USA Wrestling Nationals and 6 of those days in the Fargo Dome. People are very friendly, building is very clean, and the seating is good. However I do not think there is any building that I want to sit 6 out of 10 days for 10 hours at a time.
For how new it is it is very nice the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful in showing me the new exhibits it is pretty pricey unless you have a membership and its very small you can probably walk through the entire place in less than 30 minutes
Back in January, we were living in Atlanta, but knew we were going to move soon. Tickets for Katy Perry's Prismatic concert were about to go on sale, and we wanted to see Kacey Musgraves as the opening act, so that left us with a few options - Louisville and Fargo since they were weekend stops on the tour. We decided on Fargo because we had never been to North Dakota. We were not disappointed. The Fargodome is an incredible venue. Everything is clean and seems very new. Seating was wonderful and the bathrooms were very clean. I would definitely come back to the Fargodome. The only problem was leaving the parking lot after the concert. The Fargodome is a little off the Interstate in a neighborhood, so it takes some time to get through the side streets to get out. But it was no different than any other concert venue - when you have that many people in one location, you're not getting out quickly.
Enough said. Great venue for football, concerts, and other events. I've seen Aerosmith, Kid Rock, Bob Seger, Garth Brooks, Fleetwood Mac, and many more. Wife and daughter are going to Katy Perry Saturday!
Parking is plentiful and free around the Dome. Football would be pretty good in this venue that holds around 20,000 so not to big. Saw McCartney here and the sound was excellent
Needless to say, Paul was amazing in concert; third time I have seen him perform. I could go and on, but this is about the Fargodome. I have been to a few concerts here. The building is well planned and has good acoustics for a concert. This time we parked at Newman Outdoor Field parking and didn't even have to pay. The venue is easy to find and easy to leave back to a hotel. We are hoping to come back sometime for an indoor football game.
