It's pretty amazing to find a place like this on a country road in Wa State. The Outback, and so many other small businesses, suffered dearly after the Oso tragedy and we're so happy that they didn't give up. We enjoyed the critters, and the placid peacocks and hens on the grounds were an extra treat.

We took our 8 and 10-year old granddaughters and ALL of us had a marvelous time. Everyone is given a hand full of food to feed the different animals along the tour through the farm. Feeding, petting, and even holding the animals was beyond any petting zoo trip you can take. The staff was very pleasant and eager to give everyone as much time and information as possible. Will definitely go again!

My girls are 4 and 6. They loved feeding, petting and kissing the animals. If you go there you'll understand the kissing. The owners give you food to give to the kangaroos and most of them would let the the kids crawl all over them. Feeding the other animals is like going to a normal petting zoo, but feeding real kangaroos for the first time was awesome. The owners are very nice people and show love for there farm.

This would be a wonderful outing for families with youngsters. My adult daughter and I had a lovely time walking through the pens, patting the kangaroos and feeding various other animals. Admission was $9.00 for adults and worth it for the unique opportunity of holding a Joey for a photograph.

I go to the Outback Kangaroo Farm every year! My kids are teenagers now, but they always like to go back and see what's new. I enjoy that we get to learn about these animals and we get to get up close and personal. The owners are very friendly and very informative. Be ready for dirt, mud (depending on our weather) and poop! I love that it family owed. I can't wait to go back this year!

A wonderful couple runs this farm and they have an amazing array of animals to interact with. I had a daycare for several years and this was a must do during summer vacation!

Educational and wonderful, run by a super nice couple too! A must see for the family or anyone and not that far from Seattle - an easy drive on I-5.

We live about 20 minutes from the Kangaroo Farm and have been there about 4 times this past summer with our 3 year old. Don't go expecting the San Diego Zoo. This is a family owned farm in the country. There is dirt. There is poop. There are animals. My son loves the peacocks which are every where and he loves petting and feeding the kangaroos. I would not go there if it has rained within 2 or 3 days. Where shoes that you do not love because you will step in poop. Have an extra pair of shoes in the car. Have sanitizer. Have fun.

Our visit to the Outback Kangaroo Farm was an amazing, insightful, and hands-on exotic animal adventure. The morning was misty and rainy, but it was one of the best mornings spent in my memory. The owners have rescued some of these animals by people who didn't want them anymore (gotta love people)! The primary concern is the animal's welfare and it is asked of parents to control their children as running and screaming frighten the animals. The owner very tactfully enforced this request which made me glad to see the animals' welfare comes first. During our tour we fed and petted the kangaroos and wallabies ( our main reason for the visit), but the goats, pony and llama were also highlights. The star attraction was the 6 month old wallaby (around 2 pounds and size of my hand) that was brought out and we all were able to hold the baby in it's little handmade pouch where it is kept warm. Again, children were very closely supervised and shown how to be gentle. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and for the $9 admission, the farm about sharing and education - definitely not to get rich off of visitors. If anyone can afford to give more I'm sure it would be appreciated for the owners are truly doing a wonderful job. No, it's not fancy, yes it is a little muddy when wet - but c'mon people - it's a zoo and it is all about the animals! The animals and owners are fantastic! Thanks for a sharing your animals with us!

We had some family members visiting from out of town and thought this place would be a great way to entertain all ages (we had babies to grandmas with us). It was awesome! It's very affordable, the farm is very clean, the owners are very nice, and getting to pet and see the animals up close was more than amazing. The kangaroos and wallabies were the highlights for sure, but they have donkeys, lemurs, llamas, and peacocks (who roam freely and when they're feathers are displayed, they are especially gorgeous). We were able to hand feed the kangaroos, wallabies, and llamas with no gates/barriers in between us - they let everyone stand in the same habitat as the animals. We highly recommend and plan to return.

We've never seen this variety of exotic animals outside of a zoo and, unlike zoos, contact was up close and personal. A little too personal in some cases. Petting is fine for those who choose to do so, but the owner encouraged us to hold pellets in our mouths and feed the llamas mouth to mouth. Spare me. It was rainy and we slogged through our fair share of mud where pavement would have been nice. The gift shop was overly cutesy and really gloomy. The up side was the variety of animals, which was great. This is an interesting place to spend a comprehensive guided tour and the guy who hosts the tour really knows his business. The price was right and it was fun to see such tame exotic animals.

Just returned from an afternoon with kangaroos, wallabys, lemurs, peacocks, ostrich, emu, burrows, llamas, alpacas, roosters,and peacocks. The tour last one hour and ost $7/person. So worth it! We got to feed the kangaroos and one kangaroo was happy to lick our hands. Their fur is soft. The male peacocks were trying to entice the females and strutted in full peacock glory. We heard one hot to trot peacock ruffle his back feather, a unique sound. At the end if the tour we were able to hold a baby kangaroo. It was in a cloth pouch, amazing. The owners of this farm are very nice. It's a mom and pop operation so not fancy but we were thrilled to be up close with these beautiful creatures.

It's a great experience! There are several types of animals to see but you can pet the kangaroos and wallaroos. We were lucky enough to get to hold a baby wallaby! You can also feed the llamas and alpacas. The place isn't much to look at but where else can you get up close to a kangaroo? No indoor plumbing.don't wear good shoes.

I like it because you get to touch and feed the kangaroos, wallaroos, lemurs, alpaca, llama, ostrich, emu, donkeys and miniature horse. There are a few types of birds. One of the parrots is hilarious because he is a cunning escapee!It is a beautiful experience for people to be able to interact with these animals especially kangaroos/wallaroos because not often you get to do that. The fee is decent especially knowing how much maintanence and cost it takes to upkeep these animals.It will be ideal if the place has more grass field for these animals.

It's an amazing experience especially for young kids, don't wear nice shoes and bring cash. Its kind of hard to find so leave a few extra minutes to find the place. They usually do two hour tours throughout the day and you have to be part of the tour in order to visit, worth the money though.
