This used book store, in a restored historic building in Black Diamond, recently changed ownership. I always enjoyed chatting about all things Scottish with the previous owner, and loved to sit by the woodstove on cold, rainy days, browsing through books. The new owner is just as friendly, and the stock is just as eclectic. The wood floors creak as you walk through the large shop, and the bookshelves soar high to the rafters. There's a huge selection of non-fiction and fiction, both hardback and paperback, and a good kids section too. I brought my mother-in-law here last week, and she enjoyed the place, too. We will both be back often.

This little book shop has jazz nights, book signings, new and used books in a restored store front. The owner has had health issues and we are hoping it stays open and thrives. Well worth supporting.
