la conner walking tour

La Conner is accessible off highway 20 or off exit 221 on I-5, just follow the directions and you will find it. We were not looking for this town, but were just following the scenic road. There are lots of free parking on the street in the winter time (maybe be not so much in the Summer). It is an older port town with lots of restaurants and shops. We walked around the town on a quiet January 1st day. It is a tourist friendly town and we enjoyed our walk.

La Conner is well worth the stop if visiting in this area. Many cute and quaint little shops. Friendly and helpful people. Farm community. Beautiful fields with the crops labeled. Great place to buy fresh berries and lavender. We ate at the Farm house right off the main drag. The pies are to die for! Never saw such meringue on a pie. Must have been six inches high! .

Found LaConner by fluke . A great day just walking and exploring . We spent 9hrs just relaxing . We will be going back.
