The last of a dying breed, this independent book store has a great selection for readers of all ages. Not only did I find good reads for myself, I also found some gifts for family members. Coffee and comfy chairs add to the ambience of the place. While the service is normally great, the sales person was on the phone the entire time I was purchasing the books. She barely acknowledged me except to take my money. Customers don't like being treated as if they are a bother!

Please patronize this fine business establishment. It has a fine selection of books to browse and a very fine environment to shop and purchase your choice of reading material. You will find knowledgeable people who enjoy serving customers. Do not hesitate to ask; they believe in good service!

Liberty Bay Books is an intregal part of our community that we all need to support. Suzanne and her staff strive to make the store a welcoming place for all. The coffee bar, comfy chairs, book clubs, and staff pics book shelf all make this a readers sanctuary!

I love books and so do the owner and staff of this book store. It is full of books but has many cozy niches for savoring the store's content. While some of us browsed, while others took turns reading to our granddaughter. I visit this store ever visit and wish I had one like it nearer to me.

Love the small town feels to Liberty Bay Bookstore. Suzanne has a large variety of books and is always happy to order ones that are not currently on the shelves. Order a coffee and browse the shelves. My Grandson loves to explore all of the books in the children's section and we are NEVER hurried to buy!

I always make it a point to go to Liberty Bay books whenever I go to Poulsbo. It has a fantastic selection of books with a staff that knows their literature. I make sure to take my sons here, too. We spend time browsing and always leave with at least a book each.

They have quite the variety of books and if you are looking for something in particular and don't see it, they will order it for you. Very nice atmosphere with that small home town feel.

Really great, local bookstore. I have a Nook, but still love to buy hard copies of certain books/series, and this is a great place to go. The owner is very friendly and helpful. They offer both used and new books. With many books having been signed by the author. The children's section is big, and my 7 year old would spend all day in there if she could. There is a coffee shop located inside, with seating, so it makes a nice place to sit and relax. The location of the bookstore is perfectly located in downtown Poulsbo. We come into the downtown area at least once every couple of weeks to swing by Sluys and Liberty Bay Books.
