murder mystery dinner

We really had a great time and this made for a fun family birthday dinner. We got to interact and plot and brainstorm together. It made for a lot of laughs and kept us guessing. I recommend dressing for the theme because, well, why not! It is most fun if you put yourself into the action. The staff was friendly and we loved having a different experience than your typical family dinner. My teens loved it as well. I would suggest it as a diversion from the routine dinner out.

My daughter is quite interested in detective stories so I got this for her birthday. The tickets include a 3-course meal (beverages and gratuity are separate). It's a great concept, but definitely not for shy or introverted people, as you need to get up and talk to other people to find/hear clues. The sound/acoustics also make things difficult (this event hall has hardwood floors; also our table was near the speakers and next to a rather rowdy table, and sometimes we couldn't hear anything over the music/noise). The location is also rather hard to find, in the middle of nowhere and there is no cell signal there at all (we hired a car but couldn't contact them when it was over to tell them we were ready). The food was OK, the cocktails were excellent (the wine was only so-so), and the servers were really good. It's something fun to do, but perhaps not necessary to go more than once. Doors opened at 4:30, the fun began at 5:00. We were done at 7:30. If you can find a Groupon, I think it's worth it. (P.S. I guessed the murderer correctly, but most people at my table did not believe my theory lol)

Loved the Murder Mystery Dinner! Many guests in period costumes. The Company did an excellent job of getting the audience to participate by assigning a character/suspect to every table, provides great clue sheets and story line facts sheets. Too bad our table got taken in by the murderer and was convinced to pick another suspect! :)

Not for the shy. Get involved, ask questions. A fun evening, good food, lots of laughs. Nice that it is not too far out of town.

This was a complete bomb. The host who was supposed to keep us entertained was having a tough time making up a story line due to poor audience participation. The participation was there but when called upon by the host to go along or to create a story was a disaster! Prior to sailing, the cast members are supposed to go around and talk with the guests. What they are doing is setting the scene for the mystery. This was a pointless because they rushed through the introductions or did not start from who's who. The Sherriff asked my girlfriend if I was causing problems and if I needed to be locked up or put on a restraining order. My girlfriend was confused because his questioning had nothing to do with the act. Then who died and why was all over the map. The members of the audience who were participating could not even make up a story to keep the rest of us guessing who the murderer was and the host was just as bad at keeping our attention. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS DIBACLE

The concept is great but the location gave it some challenges in my opinion. Large open room with bad acoustics. Couldn't hear a lot of what was going on.

Had a great time at the Murder Mystery dinner in Snohomish. The actors were great getting the guests involved and guiding us through the mystery. Even on a Thursday night there were about 100 people there and guests were in character with at least some type of mask or prop. Guests enjoyed interacting with each other to solve the crime. The food was only average and I was glad we purchased the tickets through groupon at a discount but even at full price it would be worth going for the experience and the fun.

I was so thrilled that after reaching out to Murder Mystery Company regarding a donation to our local program they were so willing to help us out. What a great local company that I want to support in the future. I have heard great things about this location. I plan on placing the winning bid on this auction item, but I don't think I can wait. The food was very good I had the steak both times i went and it was so tender. Tried my daighters vegitarian pasta. It was very good will order that the next time there. They offer chicken havent tried that yet.
