Went with a friend for a tasting and distillery tour - what a good use of $5! Our tasting menu included bourbon, whiskey, vodka (I don't like vodka but I was shocked at how butterscotch-y theirs is. Very interesting), and bourbon barrel aged maple syrup and honey. Their signature bourbon is very good and easy drinking. If I ever need a gift for a friend who enjoys whiskey, a bottle of this local craft bourbon would be perfect. The maple syrup is divine and I'm struggling to wait for breakfast tomorrow to pour it on pancakes! The tour took approximately half an hour and was interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend for a fun weekend afternoon activity. They also have a cafe next door.

You'll struggle to do something touristy and fun for $5, but that is what a whiskey tasting costs. Great staff, informative experience and honey & syrup along with the whiskey which are like nothing you'll ever taste!!

We hit this place at the end of a chilly winter day of stops at brewery, winery and now a distillery, so we were getting a little saturated. Still, the staff were personable and knowledgeable. The price for a tasting only $5. The products were quite good even though we're more into vodka and gin. If you want to sample quality "brown" spirits while in the Woodinville area, this seems to be the place that everyone goes. And don't forget to taste the maple syrup!

Not really whiskey drinkers. But the place looked really inviting. The three young women working the bar were the highlight of the visit. They were fun and informative. So even if you don't drink whiskey, give this place a try.

This is not like a wine tasting. It's better. Whiskey is still made in barrels and aged but with a more powerful end result. $5 for the tasting and you get that much off if you buy a bottle. Oddly enough. I found the vodka my favorite. It's not flavored but you can smell vanilla. The whiskey was smooth served by knowledgeable people. The honey that they served was also a treat. Great experience.

The atmosphere is great and the $5 tasting was worth it, especially if you're going to buy some items anyways. Note: They do not do tours in the factory during the week, just the weekends...It would have been nice to just see what the inside looked like, but I guess I'll have to visit some other time.

Visited for a tasting (very generous pours) (reasonable price) and the free tour they do at weekends. The tour didn't take long as this is a modest establishment, but the information and stories were very well received. Purchased a bottle after the tour and can easily recommend this to anyone interested in Bourbon / Rye and even Vodka! It's clear this is a very popular spot and rightly so!

Gromitspal

They let our pal Gromit in for a visit and he shared his tasting with me. Left with a bottle of the smoothest vodka and best barrel aged maple syrup I've ever had. Killer whiskey's too. Great front staff!

Amidst the hundred of wineries was a distillery that was a true reprieve for my non-wine drinking husband. This place was new, clean and the customer service was great. I was very impressed with the fact that they also offered vodka, rye whiskey, and bourbon.

For locals and tourists alike, Woodinville Whiskey is a nice break from the sometimes monotonous weekend treks to visit some of the 100+ wineries and tasting rooms in the area. Having visited Scotland the previous summer and going on distillery tours at Oban and Talisker, I can say that the experience at Woodinville Whiskey stands up to our Scotch experiences very nicely. Our tour guide provided a history of the distillery, went over the requirements for bourbon (an American whiskey), and then explained the particular process used at WW, the four grains involved, and each piece of equipment. Kids are allowed on the tours (we took our ten-year-old daughter with us), and photos are allowed (a nice change from the distilleries in Scotland). The tour is free, and is currently offered twice a day on the weekends (1 and 3pm).In the tasting room $5 gets you tastes of their two whiskeys, the vodka, and the whiskey-barrel syrup and honey. We liked the two whiskeys a lot (the regular bourbon slightly more than the rye whiskey), but as other reviewers here have noted, we absolutely *loved* the vodka. Hard to believe it isn't flavored, as the butterscotch notes and smoothness left us nearly speechless. We used our $5 tasting fee toward the purchase of the vodka, and plan to return and get some of the syrup and honey for presents.Further, by liking Woodinville Whiskey on Facebook, you can learn about regular bottling parties, where they will feed you and provide samples while you bottle the product. At the end of the evening you get a t-shirt and a hefty discount on the spirits you just helped bottle. I'm looking forward to my own opportunity to experience this first-hand, and taking home a couple of bottles of the fine spirits.

Bourbon is their namesake but the vodka steals the show. Butterscotch aromas in vodka?? Really? Then eat a burger next door at Hollywood Tavern in front of the open pit fire.

Their whiskey, vodka, maple syrup and honey... taste them all. They are very generous with their tastings and their knowledge.

The whiskeys and vodka were tasty and the pour was generous but the whiskey maple syrup was superb! I went with family and friends and none of us usually use maple syrup and we bought three bottles!

We stop by fairly regularly to taste the latest batch of spirits. Usually we buy a bottle of their bourbon, but this time we bought the rye whiskey. The quality is high. They recently started aging maple syrup in the spent whiskey barrels. It is very tasty. Their vodka is good too, but we really like their whiskey.

If you like bourbon, you might want to sto in and taste the Woodinville bourbon. I visited the distillery on a recent trip to the area after having just been to the the Woodford Reserve distillery in Kentucky. My husband and I both agreed that they are on the right track and we can't wait for the release of the big barrel bourbon! What they have available now is quite smooth. They also distill a vodka perfectly suited for sipping..if you are a fan of butterscotch you will love it. All in all a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
