Their is nothing to dislike, the staff know their stuff and have no issue answering questions. Hospitable and good place to buy a few things. We needed info since it was my first time in the State of Washington.

Great location in Port Angeles along the water and very scenic. I loved the "Rocktopus" rock sculpture of an octopus out front. The Strait of Juan De Fuca is a fascinating marine environment and this facility wants guests to learn about the marine life inhabitants in the Straits and the larger surrounding Salish Sea. The Island Adventures boat ride our of Port Angeles gave us a free entry as part of our Whale Watching Tour, but do the tour before the boat ride as they close at 4pm.There were many artists along the walkways here painting the gorgeous scenery.

We had 45 minutes to wait to board the ferry to Victoria and found this small, but really informative natural history museum. I learned a lot about the local marine life, geography, Olympic park, et al. The lady helping us there was particularly knowledgeable and helpful. It's right next to the dock where they load cars onto the ferry, less than a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend it.

This place is..... awesome! I loved the trash part of the room, it was really educational and fun. The submarine movie was cool, and I loved the seats, it was like you were on it! Nice place to go! Loved it and will go back if ever in Port Angeles again. Anyone with a family, or a love of the ocean. This is a MUST!
