The kids always enjoy our trips out here, but when it's picking season, get ready for worse traffic than downtown. Why can't the city build better roads up there and (heaven forbid) a few sidewalks?

This is a great place to go during the harvest months. Apples, peaches, pumpkins. Visit the farms, taste, pick and have a great time.

We love going in the fall for apples and squash and of course getting fresh made pumpkin donuts. Great selection of fruit and produce, plenty of parking and the people are friendly and helpful.

Cherry picking is fun & cherries very good. Peaches and apples are much better than store bought. Good family time in fall with pumpkins and winter for Christmas trees. Generally a good family atmosphere in all the local grower spots.

I've been going to Green Bluff for years - mainstay is agri-tourism, and is the perfect place to take out-of-town visitors. Dozens of great little family farms, shopping, food, wine and beer. Great for families or couples. Different events/fruits/etc. through the season which is June through October (and December of course for Christmas trees.) We are so lucky to have this unique gem in the Spokane area.

We love going to Green Bluff and shopping at the unique farm stands and buying wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables . There are usually five or six places we like to frequent weekly. We have found a place where they sell the best walnuts, the tree is right next to the stand. They also have some unique onions and shallots. Last week we also got some red cabbage that was very good. We have bought the crispest and most perfect blend of tart and sweet Honey Crisp Apples there also. The Twilight Cider Works has a nice hard cider tasting on the weekends. We really like this place and the cider is very good, but they are only open in the afternoon on Saturday and Sundays. Harvest House has great gourmet and fresh foods to buy and wine tastings.Green Bluff is the Destination for Harvest Fun with Corn Mazes, Hay Rides, Pumpkin Picking, Apple Picking Gift Shopping and fresh warm sugar dusted Pumpkin Donuts.

It does not take long to drive to Green Bluff. The drive is beautiful, and it is so convenient! You can buy organic tomatoes, produce, homemade candy, apple butter, local honey, and even Spokane,WA wine! You have a beautiful drive, lovely scenery, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, everything, based on the season! So cool, exciting and what a treat, regardless of the season. It is a definite stop when you are here.

As a city kid who was lucky enough to spend every summer at my cousin's farm, I grew up loving and appreciating fresh picked produce. My mom was every inch the urban gardener in Seattle, filling flower beds with tomatoes, every kind of berry and squash. Once I bought a home, I continued the tradition, but there's just nothing like a trip to a real farm. One with acres and acres of different crops, all ripe and ready for you to do the picking. That's what I LOVE about Green Bluff. Just a few minutes out of downtown Spokane, you arrive in the rolling foothills of Mt. Spokane. Peone Prairie, fields and fields of golden wheat, stretches out like a surreal kind of yellow brick road leading you to some 30 family farms growing everything from alpacas to apples, pumpkins, corn and more! With a festival for nearly every season, there's never a bad time to visit the Green Bluff farms who've been serving up their fresh picked fun since 1902. Corn mazes, punkin' chunkin' (if you've never done it, you have to!!) live music and more mark autumn in Green Bluff, but visit for spring berries, the July Cherry Picker's Trot and Pit Spit, or holiday memories. Heck, you can even cut your own Christmas tree!Green Bluff is a must stop for anyone who appreciates the beauty of the outdoors coupled with a fun and festive food stop. And there are a few newcomers worth trying along with my old favorites like Walter's Fruit Ranch, High Country Market and Ellies Edibles (Who can say no to handmade caramel?) Make sure to visit the beautiful new Townshend Cellars tasting room, where some of the region's best wines are being served and sold. The Super Suris alpaca ranch has a store with incredible handmade apparel and more. Or, for a different kind of experience try out Twilight Ciderworks or Heirophant Meadery.Whatever you do, make sure to make time - I'd recommend a whole day - for Green Bluff on your next visit to the Spokane region.

We spent the whole day up in the Green Bluff area north of Spokane. This area is filled with small farms w u pick orchards and gardens, petting zoos and cider houses, lots of the farms have stores selling amazing fresh pies, fruits, veggies, jams, wines etc. several have sandwhich shops with all that go along with making a great picnic lunch. Live entertainment and fun stuff for kids abound. Make sure you plan your trip to hit the palaces that are open and also depending on the time of year will dictate what's going up in the area. To make a long story short.... Head up to Green Bluff and make some memories that will last a lifetime.

What a great place to take the family or friends to the Farms of Greenbluff. No matter what fruit is in season everyone will find something fun. From picking strawberrys or peaches, or the fall Harvest of apples and pumpkins, here's a place to get back to your rural roots. You can pick your own fruit or find the perfect pumpkin. It's a carnaval type atmosphere with plenty of food vendors, rides, horsedrawn hay wagons, pony rides, corn mazes and pumpkin donuts. Some farms have restaurants with massive cinnamin rolls, berry pies, and hot cider: some even have wine tasting booths. Great fun for all ages. Come visit the Farms!

Greenbluff offers plenty of attractions for family fun in summer and fall. Pick your own or purchase great produce and baked goods, check out the restaurants snuggled in the farms, and introduce your kids to the corn maze and pumpkin canon!

The apples are ripe, the pumpkins are on the vine, and a punkin' chunckin' machine cranks up and that makes Green Bluff the place to go to gather your own vegetables and fruits every fall. Orchard owners from the small and very homey to the very commercial sites and every thing in between, even organic sites, are in full swing as sunny days and crisp air on high plateau brings forth a bountiful harvest. And after a great outing be sure and stop by the Townshend Tasting Room and Winery to sample some their fine wine and enjoy a beautiful view of the terrain to the north including Old Baldy (Mount Spokane) and on a clear day, mountains in Canada.

Always great fun for family or a date. From spring to late fall a must see. Pumpkin doughnuts all season and worth the trip

We went this last weekend and had a great time shopping and enjoying the nice crisp fall air. It was a beautiful sunny day and half of Spokane was enjoying Green Bluff. We shopped for wine, soup mixes and double garlic olive oil at the Harvest House. We thought about waiting in a line of sixty or so for freshly made pumpkin doughnuts, but decided not too. There were corn mazes, kiddie rides and tons of pumpkins to be picked. We tasted some great hard cider at Roening ,and bought a bottle. We got some great Esspresso Carmel's at Ellie's Ediable's, and picked up a box of Johnny Mac apples at Wellens . I found a cute school desk set at Found Barn Farm Antique's. This was the first time we have been on a weekend when everyone was open. It's the best time to enjoy everything that Green Bluff Growers have to offer. We did get our pumpkin doughnuts over at Seimers, who had a much shorter line around twelve thirty. They also had several activities going on there for the little ones.

This is a truly unique place. Lots of different farms and places. Not just orchards and shops but wineries and cider makers, also great candy making. We went in the peach season and learned what a bendover peach was. So good as most fruits are tree ripened. Great place for people from the city to see what farming is all about. People are so friendly and helpful. So many different kinds of events are going on each month. Recommend this area highly
