Manito park is so beautiful in the spring. The flowers are staring to come out and it was very nice to walk by the pond.
This is a well-manicured, well-kept park full of gardens. The duck pond left something to be desired but is being renovated. I enjoy the Japanese gardens, the greenhouse, the rose gardens and the formal English garden the most, in that order. Great place to take elementary-age kids!
This is a park we return to again and again, especially when the lilacs are in bloom. Just a lovely place to wander and snap some pictures of the kids!
Large park with formal Duncan gardens, Great Japonese garden which is spectacular around Oct. 15, a photographers Nervana. There is a large rose garden perennial garden plus others. A great place to go for lunch and enjoy everything that the signature park of Spokane has to offer.
This is a beautiful park no matter what the season. The sites and sounds or lack of same are awesome. This is a great place to just relax and breath
Nice, beautiful park to just wander, enjoy and relax in. Worth taking the time to see all the various gardens.
Manito Park is a grand park with many areas to walk and enjoy. Must see the Japanese garden and the botanical garden. Feed the ducks and geese in the pond take a picnic and enjoy the play ground if you have kids.
Love the various pathways and sights throughout the park.Gardens are beautifully maintained and the conservatory makes for a tropical warm break on a cool day.
Being somewhat new to the Inland Northwest, we receive visitors from our previous residences, etc. Anxious to show our visitors the wonders of Spokane, always a trip to tour Manito Park, whatever the season, is greeted with awe, surprise and wonderment. Friends of Manito along with Spokane resources maintain these beautiful gardens and all year, the "show" is spectacular!
I love this park! My wife and I were married here decades ago in the Japanese gardens. In late spring everything is blooming and the Japanese and Rose gardens are spectacular. Can't say enough good things about it. In the winter it is an awesome sledding site for the whole family and don't forget the duck pond where the little ones can feed the ducks! As I used to live in Spokane, I've been a regular visitor to this park.
This park has several different areas - Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, Lilac Garden, Duncan Garden. All beautifully manicured and cared for. Lots to do for anyone.
100 acres of beautiful parkland in a residential neighborhood of craftsman bungalows. There is a lovely Japanese meditation garden within the park as well as an indoor arboretum with desert plants and a hilltop rose garden. Great plant sales twice a year.
Manito Gardens is a beautiful park on South Hill. Great place for pictures, a weekend picnic or just to relax. Makes you forget you are in the city.
Beautiful gardens, conservatory, roses, perennials and picnic space. Another gem in the city of Spokane. Great place to walk and observe.
I was visiting my Son who is attending college in Cheney and we got together to go hiking. The hike at Manito Park is soooo easy. It is more like strolling but beautiful to look at. It was October 2014 when we went. The Japanese garden was a lovely place to visit as well.
