This is a wonderful place to see old Port Townsend. You can strollthe halls and check out the views from one of the oldest court houses in Washington. The architecture is awesome, worth a few photos.

It's quite imposing and you can see it quite well as you come in on the ferry. To me it has almost a Victorian look but it is apparently Romanesque. Stop and take a look if in Port Townsend.

This is a wonderful building to look at. Go and check it out and just enjoy it's beauty.A work of art, but watch out for the time, if it is on the hour or half hour, the clock bells are really, really loud.

Incredible Historic building at the top of the hill. Only saw this from the outside on a weekend, right when the sun was going down. Quite the structure. Stop and take a good look at it.

You can't miss it ! This is a very large gorgeous historic building , built in the late 1800's . It sits on a hill(uptown) overlooking Port Townsend Bay ...gorgeous views. This is where all county business gets done .The clock tower is lit up at night too , and bells ring to announce the time .Right down the street is the huge old US Post Office building too. It has even better views of the P T Bay ! Again , a historic building built in the late 1800's. This is really worth seeing inside ..it's the real deal ..a functioning main post office with all the old mailboxes lining the walls . This is from the bygone era ...but well maintained and operated.

This old Victorian building is a beauty to behold. Drive around it and enjoy how well it was built. The inside is dated and needs some upgrading, but that does not detract from this centerpiece for Port Townsend.

Old building, Fast service. A Courthouse with class. And the staff is helpful. Amazing. Jefferson County is small but a great county to live in.

great architechiture and right locate at the old historic downtown of port townsend. close to the waterfront pier and some other attractions, this is a beautiful building and people working there are friendly and nice

Free Free Free. A great old bld that is mostly the same for the last 100 years. The Courthouse and the Federal Building, USPS and Customs House just down the road to the north are all free and authentic.

I went to the courthouse to do business with the county. The building is old and restored nicely. It harkens back to the grand days when Port townsend was a major westr coast port. Not a place for tourists.
