Good selection of beers on tap from breweries ranging from all over west coast and midwest. Waterfront views. However, the beers are a bit pricey .. and they don't brew their own.

The Pourhouse is the place to be in Port Townsend when the sun is shining. The bar has a view of the peninsula that few could rival, and thankfully being outside is a big part of going to the Pourhouse. You can hangout with friends, play petanque, ping pong, listen to live local music, and enjoy the best beer the PNW has to offer. The interior is cozy too if the weather is not ideal. Check it out.

Loved this place! Excellent selection of beers on tap and for purchase. Enjoyed a few beers on the patio overlooking the ocean. They have a binder with menus from local restaurants so you can order food and enjoy it there. We didn't have any food but loved the binder idea! Very dog friendly as there were about 4 dogs on the patio when we were there. Staff was great! Small little beach in front for the kids to play while the adults grab a beer!

When guests are in town, the first place we take them is the Pourhouse. They offer a large selection of local beers and ciders on tap, so everyone is sure to find something they like. They serve a very limited menu (peanuts, cheese and crackers), so you can bring your own snacks. They even have menus at the bar to order food from nearby restaurants. They have a lot of outdoor seating (with and without shade) to enjoy the water views. Many evenings they also have live music. The atmosphere is fun and you can bring your dog with you. What a great spot!

This place is terrific, and it gets better all the time. More types and styles of beer than you can imagine. Helpful staff and owners who will take the time to make sure you understand the options or can find what you're looking for. The atmosphere can't be beaten -- especially on a beautiful day. And the live music. Incredible. Love this place. Definitely lots of locals make this a regular stop, so no doubt it will be here a long time. And if you're in need of a petanque game, you'll find a good one here. (Ping pong, too.)

This place is right before you get into downtown PT, and is extremely easy to miss. We did not find out about it until our friends showed us where it was. It is not hard to find once you know where to go!They serve lots of beers, and ciders, and mead - from local breweries, and others, and local wines, not a huge selection, but enough to maker wine drinkers happy. They have a limited snack selection, including local cheeses, which is great. The cool thing is that you can either bring food in, or order locally and have it deliveredThere is music on weekends, an outdoor area with fire pits, seating, and games overlooking the water. Now we stop there every time we are headed to PT. The atmosphere is casual hip, and the staff is friendly

Man, I feel bad with only 3 out of 5 stars, and someone has mistaken you for another place that serves a menu you don't have! For the record; good beer, wine, no food, fun place, great music, wonderful view, nice servers [you pay as you order, so I don't understand this hunting for a bill thing]. They encourage you to bring food or order it, because they are not a restaurant. They do have nice cheese board options and snacks, but they are not set up to wash a bunch of dishes; I think the back room is tiny. For everyone that thinks there are chefs and a restaurant and big commercial dishes and dishwashers...no. It's great beer, no back talk. And fun! They get some great bands, and it's fun to dance outside when the weather allows. We go in groups, come to events, or go as date night...and pack an enviable picnic basket and remember our utensils and have a great time.

I was spoiled for choice here but started with the Maharaja which was over 10% but didn't taste that strong. The bar lady was friendly as was one of the locals who started chatting to me. It is an interesting place with good decor. Outside is a large beer garden. It is almost halfway house between the Port Townsend Brewery and the ferry which was good for me as it is not so far to walk. Lots of craft ales in bottles for sale too. A great little place.

The Pour House us a beer joint for folks who like craft beer and an outdoor seating area near the water. The beer selection (tap and bottled) is large and very representative of Northwest craft brewers. The outdoor picnic table based seating has the added draw that dogs are allowed. The food selections are peanuts, mixed nuts, and a cheese "board" and meat "board". The boards are actually pre-prepared cuts in plastic containers. I think they would be good if they were fresh, but the one we received seemed to have been in the refrigerator a while. However, you can bring food in or order food to be delivered there. So, don't go there for their food. Go there for the beer, the water, the conversation, the dogs...

On St Patrick's day...went to check in on festivities. Not really into much of a celebration. Live musician who also wasn't into holiday. Rating for food is average because they only have snacks. ..peanuts in she'll were good. They have a variety of different beers on tap and the small size glass makes it easy to try several. Also available in 10 and 16 oz sizes. Pelican stout was my favorite of all those we tried.

Loved this place! Went there pre Strange Brew Festival & enjoyed a few microbrews with friends. The walls are decorated with local art & even though there are only 12 taps, their bottled selection was a beer snobs wet dream come true! They also have a great dog-friendly outdoor area right on the harbor. If I was a local, this would be on my weekly routine! The owners were attentive & all staff was very beer knowledgable.

We have popped in during quiet season a number of times, and it is a great place to enjoy a really good beer, or a lovely wine and cheese plate. Or, even order from your fav restaurant and have it delivered! The focus is on good drinks and service, plus it is tastefully decorated and large enough to accommodate My husband and I even thought of that as a wedding reception place, with its magnificent view of the Puget Sound, so we started to going to events we found they had there. The Summer bands were fantastic; great fun to dance with the 'day tripper' [a local guy that does some 60s acid based interpretive dance wherever there is a band!. Unfortunately, he hogged the stage at 3 venues we went to that week alone, and he doesn't buy anything. Still, entertaining]. The season changed, and we were looking for more indoor events. and we read they had live music on Saturdays at 8. That is literally the only decent hour venue for music in town; we work and stuff starting late isn't an option. We came Halloween, they had a party and it said to come early for costume contest. I have spent my life on stage as a dancer and singer, and am trying to expand for theatre, and have costumes from kids shows we borrowed for what would fit us. The staff was welcoming, and said my category was 'sexiest'. Ha! That is the last thing I think of myself, and at twice the age and size, I figured I didn't stand a chance. We were about to leave, but the guy behind the bar said we should stay. Like I said, the world is my stage, and we danced til our feet blistered and later went to sing karaoke. I should add, our friends had left, and one lost her keys. it was so crowded, we never would have heard a phone ring, and she was SO impressed she told me about the folks answering the phone and getting back to her in 2 minutes, and she was able to get them; well done! Anyway, I won the contest! My husband [we had only been married maybe 2 months then] now brags he has the 'sexist' wife in Port Townsend! We came back on another Saturday, and inasmuch as we see the same people over and over weekly in this town and they NEVER remember us, the owners gave us a Royal greeting, and out of costume much less! Needless to say, with as much rude service and bad food as I have gotten in this town, we have found a place we actually are made to feel WELCOME and will be back. Plus, sidebar, they really do have good beer and wine. I used to be an importer of good European beer, am more a wine person and studied that abroad, too, and they know what the heck they are pouring! Thanks! Love and kisses, the St Paulie Girl

Was in PT for a couple of days and stopped in my favorite place to have a beer. The place was crowded, but we charged in, only to be repelled by a wall of stink - a combo of stale beer, body odor, and unwashed clothes. We'll have to visit in the summer when we can drink outside, haha!

On recommendation of a local friend we went to the pour house for beer and a view! But first we stopped at 123 Thai for food for a bite. Much to our pleasure the Thai gentlemen delivered our food to the bar. Did I mention they encourage you to order food to be deliver there? Bonus! But beware, if your delivery person does not bring two forks you may be in for an unpleasant quest in getting a fork from the bartender. Apparently while food is encouraged to be brought in, don't ask for a fork or where you should put the trash. The bartender was not very happy that we asked what we should do with our trash, being out of towners we were unaware there was a trash can by the bathroom! Who knew, not us but I guess we were expected to know! Like the title says, great view, Not great service! Funny for a town based in tourism....

I'm a recently returned local and LOVE this place! Hung out here 4-5 days a week this summer. The beer and wine selection are excellent, the ambiance is low-key shed boy and dog-friendly.The only food served is locally produced pre-packaged snacks (peanuts, cheese, salami) to go with the stellar beverages, but you can bring your own food from home, order food that will be delivered from a select number of restaurants or bring take out food with you. How cool is that?Great owners who really get it. Best view in town.
