For a special event, like sheep herding, it's fun for kids. Just to walk around on an ordinary weekend, not worth it.
This park has a good structure for kids, and a nice large field to toss the football or Frisbee. There is a great paved path from the park structure around the top of the field to a fabulous barn area with some animals for kids to observe, such as pigs, chickens, goats and horses. There were many families with kids on scooters and dogs on leashes, so perfect for people with young kids. The parking is very convenient to the park, with many open spaces when we arrived. Overall, a really great park!
Kids always have a blast! There are many events along the year that makes it even more interesting. You can't go wrong if you have kids and want to make them happy.
Limited, but interesting assortment of farm animals. Nice grounds. Good place to take kids for a couple of hours or so. Bring a picnic lunch. Tables provided.
Natural setting near downtown, with possibility for teens to volunteer at their animal station. There is a nice park to relax in the green, very peaceful. It is like a small farm in the middle of the city.
This is a great park for families. With all the urban sprawl, getting a taste of farm life is a welcome relief. The seasonal events (sheep shearing in spring and fall harvest) are especially fun. Hiking trails through the property connect to other trails through the city. The summer day camp programs are also top notch.
Growing up in Bellevue, I spent my early years playing and learning at kelsey creek farm. Now that I'm nearly 40 with a family of my own, I re-'found' this little gem only minutes from Downtown Bellevue. Tucked away in what I presume is a preserved greenbelt, the farm feels like you're away from it all, with no sounds of view of the city only a couple miles away.Parking is easy and there are plenty of places to have a picnic or bbq (with covered areas). There's a big play area for younger kids (ages 2-5) and fields for ball. The main attraction is the working farm. Two giant barns, complete with goats, pigs, horses, cows, roosters, chickens, rabbits, geese...and probably more. You can get right up and almost touch the animals through the fences.its a wonderful place to teach your kids about different animals...and its free (donations accepted). You can rent out one of the barns for birthday parties - and I believe when you do, your group gets to pet and pose with the animals. I live in West Seattle - and with no traffic, it takes less the 25 minutes to get there. Get off on SE 8th - and its right there after you drive through a small neighborhood.
Clean, open and some animals for the kiddies to check out. Tie in a trip to the nearby Bellevue Botanical Gardens.
This is a good, safe, and great place to bring the dogs and let them run.I am here almost every other day.
This park has picnic areas, play fields, kid,s farm animals, and walking trails up hills or flat. A nice quiet place near downtown Bellevue and close to the Botanical Park.
It includes climbing equipment, farm animals, fences to climb and fields to run. The opportunities for children to observe and interact with the animals is both safe and casual.
It was the first time I had gone and it was fantastic. What a hidden treasure. You would never even know it was there. Tucked away in a little residental area is this 150 acre park/farm. There is plenty of parking and walking into the park.likes--play areas for the kids-lots of free parking-washroom available-free fountain water next to the washroom-family picnic area with tables inside the park-free-a two mile hiking trail and it looked like a gravel loop for walking or running-Very kid-friendly farm with horses, pigs, summer camp programs-Above the play area is the barndislike--none so far
This park is so awesome. If you have toddlers or small children it's a great place to go. Besides the normal park stuff (play equipt, places to run) they have animals to pet and activities (scheduled). I took my daughter here lots when she was little. I love this place. Good Stuff!
We have been to this farm many times. It gets super busy on event days but we still enjoy it. The summer concerts are a hit. We went to see Caspar Baby Pants and it was crazy busy. My kikds like looking at the chickens. We loved the hay ride in the summer too. Super fun place for kids.
Great place to take kids and let them work off extra energy AND learn at the same time. Lots of animals to look at, and a play ground. They offer awesome camps during the summer as well.
