lynches river county park

I've been here several times and I really enjoy it. This park has a nice campground with water and electric hookups available. Several nice cabins are for rent if you prefer camping indoors. There are nice hiking trails and river access and a very nice archery range with observation towers. There is a softball field near the campground that is fun if you have a big enough group. If you're interested in geocaching you can find that here too. The splash pad charges a small fee for admission. It is a series of sprinklers and fountains encircled by lounge chairs and umbrellas like a pool; there is no pool, but it still has the lifeguards with whistles to make sure no one has too much fun, and give it that public pool feel. The splash pad is great for families with small children but probably won't interest teenagers.

Went to the Splash Ride--$6 for my wife, two kids, and I. Great water feature and the food was great and cheap. Florence has many great parks and this one added to the list.
