Played here for the first time and was really surprised with this course. Great condition with very well maintained greens and bunkers. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Played 27 holes and wished we had time to play the back nine a second time. We will play her multiple times on our next trip.

Four of us on a golf trip played Santee Cooper Country Club. It was a very nice course with sand traps and some water. The only complaint was some greens were slanted and extremely fast. Almost impossible to putt. Other wise challenging and fun.

We have played this course several times over the years as we travel north and south in our RV. On each occasion I came away with two thoughts: Play the course for position due to the dog legs and tight fairways. Second, due to the elevated greens surrounded by bunkers shoot your approach shot high and go one club higher. The fairways are in good shape (if you stay in them) and the greens are smooth and slow. My only concern was the condition of the bunkers...many were hard and made the sand shot a challenge. I shot six over my normal 11 handicap, but felt the course was fair from the white tees. The gold tees are very close to the reds, so the old farts will think they are not playing from the reds...what a joke. Nice staff and I'll play it again from the whites. Four hours on the weekends.

This course is well designed, fair and playable. However, it is unfortunate that due to lack of manpower, the condition of the course was disappointing. The greens required to be cleaned off of pine cones, pine needles and Goose droppings. That being said, with a little attention to detail and a quick round with the leaf blower, this course is fun to play. I would love to see the condition of this course when their greens staff are at full compliment. It does have great potential.

Our golfing weekend ended at SCCC, our third stop. The staff seemed a bit harried preparing for our 8:30 tee time, but they recovered well and took good care of us. A very good course.

Very scenic round of golf. Loved the Pine Trees here. Beneath the canopy lie the biggest Pine Cones in the area. Oh yeah the course layout is pretty good too, if you like doglegs. Played from the back tees this course is still a challenge for the long hitters. You gotta be straight and down the middle. You can't cut the corners, hehe...given the height of these Pines. Overall good course to play. Greens were spotty (1st week of Feb). Superintendent from another course mentionned how the greens were painted & rolled. The rye seed didn't take here as with the other courses in the area even though it was the same crew that worked here. Would like to play here again when all is green. Was told it's much tougher with greater emphasis to keep your ball in play...

Course has it's challenging holes but overall it is not that difficult. Well maintained course and the price is very reasonable seasonal from $25 and up.

This has always been one of my favorites in the area, but this time we found the greens to be in need of repair. The staff is accommodating but the course needs some tlc.

Very much a resort type course. Good condition, but pretty open and not very challenging overall. I would play it again.
