Personally, I would be weary to go there. I was fortunate to have someone looking out for me. Otherwise, I might have gone. It was in between December 2011 and February 2012, kept getting the intensified pressure by someone who convinced me I should go. But the time was never right and then i never did get the chance. Later I learned it was a notorious place with stories circulating about it that I found hard to believe. Apparently, there was a death at that cave. But the circumstances of what I heard sounded more like local gossip taken to an inappropriate height, especially given the fact they were based on a real life event. A tragedy actually. So it sort of seemed unfair to the family who suffered loss to have such crazy things circulating. I didn't know the person who evidently had the accident. But 31 is too young to go. Oddly enough I later learned my residence was the exact former residence of the person who died. Strange, but not like in the movies. I'm not wierded out easily. There's been some strange things I've seen. But after my experience living in the area. My view changed. Don't get me wrong. I don't believe in ghosts or other made up junk. But I do believe in fowl play. I just didn't think I'd come close to a person involved .and other 'accidents'. Its made me look twice at things from another angle. And unfortunately cast a new light on the field of insurance in a different way. Instead of just being the necessary backup to unforeseen events, as I used to. And I was actually supposed to tour that cave one weekend, but I got sick and stayed home instead. Which really ticked off the person (beneficiary) who wanted me to go. I didnt make this review to discourage people from visiting South Dakota. There are many people and several places I miss very much. Was an experience of a lifetime. There are so many things to see and explore and the Black Hills are Beautiful. No one could deny the awe strucking sights or the tranquil Badlands. The drives are unforgettable. South Dakota and the surrounding states along its borders have some breathtaking views for sure. But be careful you know the area your visiting and are with a trusted guide, know who your friends are. And most importantly, if there are warnings, listen to them. Everyone deserves informed cautions to the respective locals they go. If I would have been given that, I would have had made an informed decision. Isn't that what it comes down to? And everyone's experience is unique in its own way. So I obviously cannot speak for everyone. But the opportunity to make a decision based on getting to be informed first is important to me.

Its okay considering its a small cave. I would spend a little more at a larger cave and get a greater variety of formations to enjoy.
