The Sculpture Walk is an event where artists loan their sculptures to Sioux Falls to be spread out in the downtown area for a few months, typically from May - September. During this time you can walk around downtown and vote on your favorite sculpture with a fun printed map the city provides. It is a great way to learn about art and also to learn about your friends or who you are dating when discussing which sculptures you like and why. I loved this unique activity last year and think it is a really great tradition for Sioux Falls. The winning sculpture is purchased by the city and placed somewhere around town. I do have to say that last year the Trex got robbed. :)

An eclectic fun and art-inspiring journey through the downtown area. My personal fav is the one off the corner of a bank across the way to the pavilion of the little girl on one toe with her hand held windmill. There is so much beauty on these streets I love it. Also they change the art occasionally too, so go!

Interesting art work up close. The displays change periodically. The Down Town is interesting with boutique shopping.

How wonderful it is to have such a great collection of art displayed in the downtown area! Beautiful sculptures line the street made from a variety of media. Ballot boxes are available for voting for your favorites. Free and a great place for photo ops.

Wonderful way to enjoy Downtown Sioux Falls even when you're just out and about walking around. Can enjoy it any time of year.

Unique and original art work is displayed on Philips Avenue. this is a perfect venue for artist to show their skiils and to enrich pedestrians. The sculptures are moved to various locations and new art is often introduced. Wonderful expereince.

this is worthy of 60 minutes. maybe more. downtown SF is a really nice place to visit. good food too.

It adds something extra to the area. There's usually something for every one to love and, well not love, but it's still very cool.

Totally enjoyed this scenic walk. So many wonderful sculptures all in one place. It is totally worth visiting. Have your cameras ready.

I can't say enough good things about this sculpture walk. My family and I immensely enjoyed it and will return if back in the area. The diverse sculptures and the info behind them kept us all waiting for more. Be sure to stop and get a map of the sculptures with the locations and information on each sculpture. Of magnificent sculptures on a street little stocked on a Sunday afternoon. What of better for appreciated the charm of a medium-sized city.

Really glad we took the time to stop and check out the Sculptures. We walked most of the main area and it took less than 30 min. It was a great way to kill some time after checking out Falls Park. If you like sculptures/art it's absolutely worth the time to stop. Make sure you get a map that gives you pictures and location of each sculpture.

There are so many sculptures to gaze at as you are walking downtown. There are very talented sculptures and there are the obscure. Art is wonderful either way, so take some time and enjoy it :)
