This company makes is one of the best fruitcakes I have ever had. The customer service folks bend over backward to make your visit a pleasant one. I also like the other goods they have in their shop. Best kept 'secret' in the state. I have been going here for at least 25 years and never had a bad experience. The Scott family makes a great product or I would not be coming back. And for the complainers, consider that this is their busiest time of year and they too get tired and a little frayed by the end of the day. Have a little consideration for those who work there and you will have an awesome experience.

We have always enjoyed shopping at Southern Supreme Fruitcake Factory for our Christmas goodies and goody gifts. This year we were shocked at the lack of inventory - especially given that in the past we have always been able to buy sugar free and low sugar good quality candies, jams, jellies and fruitcakes. This year we walked in and walked out with nothing. There were none of the items listed above on the shelves. If you want a huge assortment of 1 pot coffee samples this is the place to go this year, but everything else, get out your cookbooks because you are back to making it.

Just went yesterday for a return visit, my 3 other friends had never been. If you buy fruitcake, this is the best!!!!! It is so moist and nutty!!! They have lots more than just fruitcake. :) :)

What a joy this fruitcake factory tour is!! Late November or December is a perfect time to visit this factory to learn what extraordinary care they take in their production of many specialty food items that they sell in their shop or ship worldwide. The sample bar is an easy way to find what will quickly become some of your Christmas snack favorites. The fruitcake is much better described as a "nut cake" and that also explains why it is so much better than the "standard fruitcake"! This day trip out into the country turned out to be great fun and very tasty!

Ordered online Tuesday and order still has not shipped called to check on the order only to find out it was not being shipped until today and part of the order would not arrive until Monday. I am very disappointed that part of my order will set in some warehouse or truck over the week-end expressed this to the lady that answered who in return was just like oh well!! I will not or would not suggest other people to order from there website as they ship it when they want to and do not care about the customer. This used to be the best place with the best customer service ever. I guess they have became so busy in this occonmy that they can afford to lose customer's. Well you are one of the few and I wish you the best of luck. The order that I had shipped was being sent to my 88 yo grandmother so I thank you so much.

I have been visiting this store for almost 20 years now--best nutty fruitcake ever! You will not buy another brand again after sampling this nutty fruitcake! They also have available some of the best chocolate, nuts, candy, cheese florets, peanut brittle, jams, jellies and spreads you could want! It is located in Bear Creek near Bennett - well worth the drive! Only thing--it is pricey but sometimes you just have to buy!!!

We went for the yearly open house, how wonderful! Good Southern Hospitality. Got in line for the tour of the kitchen and along the way we were given samples of most of their products. What a sugar rush! After the tour we went into the shopping area. It was nicely decorated for Christmas Season. They have restrooms in the back of the store. During the rest of the year you have to schedule tours by calling 1-877-815-0922. The store is out in the country but is well worth the stop.

I know that many people don't even like the thought of fruitcake. I'm one of those people who can't get enough fruitcake! Please understand that Southern Supreme offers so much more! They sell coffee (bagged), nuts and really great gift baskets. You'll also find decorating ideas for your home (and those of your friends & family, too). Did I mention the FREE factory tour (no photos, thank you very much) where you'll learn that nearly everything is done by hand in small, small batches. These folks use 2,000 hand-cracked, fresh eggs every day. Who says that one cannot crack two eggs at the time? Certainly not me!Lastly, Southern Supreme offers FREE samples. Try before you buy, I always say. This fun-loving business is family-run, closely-held, and gently cared for. Get out of the car, stretch your legs, tantalize your tongue, and learn something along the way. What more could one ask?Heck, one day you might even tell your grand kids about this experience!! Lol

Chauffeured a group of church ladies who had been before. I was less than impressed for my first time. The tour was interesting; however, nothing over the top to see this as a destination must see. The product was tasty; yet overpriced. Thanks for the samples.

Southern Supreme Fruitcake is a family owned company. They specialize in fruitcake, but they also have a wonderful gift shop. We went to open house which they have every year. We were able to sample yummy treats and see how the fruitcake was made. I love the buttery toffee, and the chocolate covered nuts. You can also buy glassware, plates, teapots, spiced cider mix, and jellies. The drive in the country is worth the trip for such treats! If you like a nutty fruitcake, then you will love Southern Supreme!
