beer study

Like to stop here when I periodically come to town for a concert, lecture, or other activity at UNC-CH. Laid back, great tap and bottle selection, and the tenders are always cool. What more can you ask.

This was the perfect place to spend a couple hours one spring afternoon (and later that evening). The beer selection is pretty okay as far as craft beer. They've got a lot of stuff that I personally wasn't too interested in; but the selection was still decent. I'm into Belgian Quads and Abbey Ales. Their selection of such was lacking pretty badly. No Brother Thelonious, no Abt 12, no Ommegang Three Philosophers. Anyhow.... apart from MY preferences, they had some decent selection and alternatives. I don't think there's food available, but I did see a guy bring in a gigantic burger; so it must be okay to bring your own food in. The staff were really friendly for the most part. There's shuffleboard, a nintendo 64, and plenty of comfortable outside seating. And there were a ton of dogs around. Which is always awesome. I got the shirt.
