Free park with several levels of hiking trails...all near the river. They also have a pet walking area, but you need to bring Fido's vaccination record. Grumpy owners are also required to have rabies shots.

I didn't walk the entire 425 acre park but I did rake a walk along the river. The only place to actually get to the river was a very small area that would nit be much fun if the park were crowded. It wasn't the day I was there but the "river" was so low I could have walked across it on the rocks. What really ticked me off was when I tried to take my dog into the fenced dog park I was told I had to buy a $20.00 permit. No special service like water fountain or dog wash (which I have found at parks in other states) and I could walk the park for free - huh? Try Baker's Mountain as it is way cooler.
