mcguires pub

We went last weekend for dinner before the play at Hickory Community Theater The Tap Room had a 30 minute wait as did the new Hickory Station, so we hit the old standby McGuires. It has been here forever and the sandwiches are always good. Good beer selection. Nice pub atmosphere,,,with darts and a dark lighting. It can be very loud at times and service can be slow when crowded, but I have never had a bad meal in 40 years.
