The lady who "hosts" this shop is very, very nice. The layout of the shop window and the displays are very visitor friendly with wide open spaces and everything was very clean. Worth a visit even if you are not a fan. The store was well stocked.
I was in town for the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Had time to kill before I catch my plane so I decided to check out some of the shops around Mooresville. Kyle Busch Motorsports is a fairly new building. You can look inside the race shop for some of the trucks and cars are being built. Throughout the shop and a gift shop there's trophies all over the place. The neatest thing was along the wall was diecast of every paint scheme that he won in Nascar. Over 150 wins so far
We stopped at KBM because its right by Penske's shop. We are not Kyle fans but wanted to see his shop. We were blown away by how nice it is . You can look in and see them working on the trucks and walk around the lobby and see Kyle's trophies( he has a lot) and there are cars and trucks on display in the lobby. There is a nice gift shop and Kelley who works there was very friendly. We even bought 2 shirts though Kyle is not one of our favorite drivers but you can't help but be impressed by his shop and the amount of trophies he has won. He is an incredible racer and once you visit his shop you will come out liking Kyle or at least respecting him for what he has done and what a beautiful shop. We met several people during our travels to the shops and we told everyone to make sure the visit KBM.
We stayed in a central location and visited 5 shops in one day.I'm a grandmother on a mini trip with son and 2 grandsons and all the one we visited were awesome. They have race cars in their show room, large windows where you can see the men working on the cars, any type of nascar merchandise you want to buy.Must say I enjoyed the experience as much as the boys. It's fun, interesting and well worth doing if you love Nascar.
really thought the trophy case was cool very clean shop and you must admit he should have won the all star race. driving for joe gibbs has been a blessing for his nationwide races but im sure he will continue to grow
we have been twice now for fan club meetings. this shop is amazing to see. there are different cars and trucks on the show floor. you can also see the guys working on cars from the inside. around the corner you will find all the big trophies. there is also a wall of all the cars he has won in, and that was cool to see.
I'm not a big Kyle fan but I have always respected the sacrifice involved in putting together all the pieces needed to be a competitive force in NASCAR
Beautiful Shop. Good stuff to see and price at gift shop fair. First off, I am on the fence about KB - whether I like him or not. When left the shop after talking to the secretrary/gift shop lady - left respecting him. She stated is SUPER nice guy - said is one way at work (the track) and totally opposite outside the track. Talked about what he has done for community. I asked if a guy to have a beer with - she said "OH YEAH". I even bought a KBM shirt!
I find this guy a punk who is a bad person because he is such a baby and bad sport. But there is no denying his driving ability and when you see his trophy case - especially all the big Bristol trophies - you cannot help but be impressed. The shop is pretty small but you do get to see the trucks and nationwide cars getting worked on.Well worth the time if you are in the area visiting other shops.
Another NASCAR driver shop - very interesting, clean, helpful staff, nice gift shop. You never know...you might meet somebody from NASCAR on a Monday or Tuesday.
The building itself was very nice and there were quite a few things to look at when we were there. Didn't really interact with any staff so I can't say much about them but the structure is a really cool place.
Who ever designed the building has amazing talent, just like Kyle! It's worth the drive to see it, staff could be more friendly though. PENSKE and NEMCO are close to make it a fun outing.
My son worked at JGR with Bobby LaBonte, Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch. Tony and Kyle have been somewhat more politically correct while their irrepressible skill and passion for driving is fostered. Nice to see Kyle spread his wings.
