We visited the week prior to Daytona 2015 and would like to say BIG thank you. We arrived 9:30, toured the gift shop and looked in shop through viewing window( price of clothing is great). The nice woman in the gift shop was friendly, helpful and mentioned an opportunity to do shop tour. We did shop tour at 10:30 and lasted at least an hour. I understand that anyone wanting to do tour may want to inquire prior and book if necessary. The shop is not the size of some other race shops we toured but is larger than others with personality and information. My wife and I are motorcycle racing fans and I have watched nascar when I can. After the visit at JR Motorsports we are xfinity and nascar fans watching the JR Motorsport drivers and Dale Jr.Special thank you for our shop tour guide, information supplied and everyone we saw in shop were very polite. After tour and understanding how busy everyone is, it is wonderful that people are able to visit a top notch race shop. Oh yea it is free! Good luck to team JR Motorsports.
We are big Jr. fans and went to take a tour of his shop. The cars were away at Homestead but we had a great tour with a really knowledgeable staff member.
The window into the shop itself is interesting as you can see the crews working on the cars in various stages development, The shopping is great for all drivers on the team, "Jr.", and all things associated with him. Our two year old was thrilled with the tire (yes full size racing tire) he got to take home when his parents spent a certain amount. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
One of the few garages to give tours. The tour was an hour and we saw and learned so much. Answered everyone's questions. Just remember to make a reservation(no cost).
If you are a Dale Earnhardt jr. , than this place isfor you. Small window looking into the race shop. Some trophies throughout the lobby and store the buildings more a gift shop in a race shop
Be sure to call ahead to find out about tours. The people working there on the day we went were not very happy people.
Jr's race shop is very nice, not as big as some but nice to be able to look in and see them working on the cars, the gift shop is nice, good selection, nice staff. Grounds are nice and plenty of parking. We visit every time we are in town. Go Junior!!!
Great location, easy to find and lots of merchandise.Huge Jr. fan!!! just wished the cashier was a little friendly.
If you are a huge Jr Fan you have to stop here. All kinds of merchandise and you never know which Earnhardt will be your cashier.
Staff was friendly. Good selection of merchandise. Big window to look into the shop. A lot of trophies on display. They do tours on specific days. We were not there on one of those days.
A huge Jr fan, as I'm sure you guessed. It is located in a weird location and worth the hunt. A look into the shop was great, the memorabilia displays were very well done. I listen to Dirty Mo Radio pod casts, and it was really neat to see where they record they shows. I got a great Jr ball cap and the prices were very reasonable. Enjoyed.
We enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour. It was very cool to see the #7 Tax Slayer car getting ready to run at Chicago, then seeing that race later on via TV. The people there were very friendly, and you can get sou enir racing tires at very low cost.
If you are a Dale Jr. fan, you should stop by Jr Motorsports if you are in the area. It is a small gift shop with a viewing window into the area where they work on the cars. They give tours, but you have to arrange it in advance. Look on their website for the info on getting a tour. Prices in the shop were very reasonable and there are even some sale racks. We spent over $88 so we got a real used tire off one of the cars for free to take home. (It was from Regan Smith's car). My little both was so excited to have that tire! He is going to put it in his bedroom. LOL. Everyone who works there is so nice.
Stopped by on our way home from Concord to visit the gift shop, nice surprise, free guided tours on Thurs. and Fri.! My husband and daughter are both big Dale, Jr., fans, we all enjoyed the tour, guide was very informative, no pictures please inside the garage area, due to past issues, but we were allowed to tour all areas, see how they build a car from the chassis up and make repairs. Dale Jr. fans will not want to miss this! Really nice treat for fans. Ladies in the gift shop were very friendly.
They were not giving tours the day we went. Only Thursday and Friday. However, the store was open, and it was fun to look around. They also have a large window that you can look into the garage, and see them working on the cars. Also, there are some trophies on display. I enjoyed it.
