zebulon community park

I cannot believe I stumbled upon this treat in Zebulon. I love playing Disc Golf and was able to get in a game with a few other guys on a beautiful Saturday. If my son were younger, I bet he'd love the playground here too. This is a family friendly environment that I would encourage anyone to visit.

The park is located on the edge of town and is in a very peaceful quiet area of the town. I mainly visit to play Disc Golf as it is one of the more challenging courses in the immediate area. There is also a walking path that is closely oriented with the Disc Golf park. You could bring someone with you who doesn't play and they could enjoy it. There are some negatives however. If you are trying to play on a day where there is a softball game then be prepared to skip a few holes or either throw precariously over cars. Park also has Basketball, exercise stations along a walking/nature trail, playground equipment, Disc Golf, Geocaching, and softball. Overall a great friendly park environment with tons to do. However if you are playing disc golf watch out for people doing those things, and if you are doing those things, watch out for errant shots from Disc Golfers.

We spent a lot of time there when my son was little. He loved the swing set and the slide. Peaceful setting with the pond and the spillway/waterfall.
