Business trip, outing for meal and Comedy Zone. Plan on walking because parking is scarce, they fill up quickly because of all the events going on. Comedy Zone was great but the seat I had - needed to keep shifting head to see around pole - not fun. Great venue for entertaining guest or corporate outings. Food typical. Big names abound on occasion so check schedules and plan accordingly

The bar had a large selection of beers and we loved keeping our beer cold on the freezer strip. The waitress also recommended a good French pastry in NoDa.

the comedy club is nice and the restaurant is as well. the club host a variety of entertainment so you never know what you will get. the parking is hell so pay for valet and be early for that and be prepared to wait on you car after. It's a change from the epic center

Cant complain at all...we went to see john witherspoon for only $20...Nice location easy parking. The only small issue which is to drinks are super high. THE wings are good but the chilli was not good and the drinks are EXPENSIVE and watered done. However, We would still god back.

If you haven't been lately, I highly recommend you get over there. There is something for everyone there. Doesn't matter what style of restaurant you like, or club for that matter, or genre of music, there is something for everyone. We went to The Fillmore, which was awesome. The renovations and additions there are great. Was a little hard to get in and out of the place, but overall wasn't too bad. Parking is a little sketchy in the back lots, so make sure that you hide valuables or take them with you completely.

My daughters and I went to a comedy show at the Music Factory. We had drinks and dessert there. The female comedian was wonderful. We had such a great time. They have many shows available at the same time.

I took my wife and kids, 11 and 12, to see Darius Rucker's recent concert and this was an amazing concert. Of course because of entertainment, but mostly because of the seats I picked. If you are going here for a outdoors oncert, spend the extra money and get box seats. You are above traffic and you have a waiter. When comparing prices for concerts, trust me on this one. Remember though, this is an Outdoor venue and umbrellas are not allowed. We all had such a great time and the food was not your typical Bar food. They also have a lot of space inside for other type concerts. This place was amazing and who ever thought it up and followed through with it, my congratulations. Fine job. I also have to add, the bathrooms were plenty and very clean.

I went to see Charlie Murphy do his comedy routine. He was very funny as I had won some free tix to see him. I didn't particularly like that the show did not start on time and the will call line was kind of long other than that the show was great. Didn't particularly like that we were unable to take pics. I mean I can see no recording but, no pics and then we were told that Mr. Murphy would take pics after the show however; he did not. I would see another show at this venue as it was still a decent place to go to.

Seats and view nice. Updating screen this year is good. Food actually pretty good just high like at all ballparks.

So many venues to visit. The Comedy Zone is great and VBGB is really fun. Maggies Diner is a great after the fun food place. The place is very eclectic and they have great food an service. If you go to Texicali...don't miss the Yucca fries with Chimichuri sauce...YUM.

Bison burgers with jalapenos and cheese, a side of sweet potato fries with a bottomless coke... Doesn't get much better than that. Not as busy for lunch as it should be... so no problem getting a seat. The service is fast and the food is good. I sat at the bar and have never been unhappy. Comedy club is great and Matties is a great snack place with some of the best homemade desserts in town. Order a pastrami burger, Californian style. Awesome!

There are no better venues in CLT or anyplace I have been than the NC Music Factory. Its your one stop shop for concerts, comedy, drinks, dinner and a good time with friends. There is the Amphitheater for outdoor shows, the Filmore for indoor shows, and then plenty of food and drink options.

I went to the Filmore to see Theory of a Deadman last night. Had a great time. Beer was a bit pricey but that's expected. NC Music Factory is a pretty cool place. Lots of Bars and Restaurants too. The Filmore is geat place to see a show. Check it out.

The Music Factory is a series of interconnected bars and dining areas which offer a lot of variety and opportunities to dance away the evening. It is a very well visited area and a lot of casual fun. It easily held 1700 members from our conference.

Nice little area for a comedy club and restaurants, however MAKE SURE you have a taxi's phone number to get a return trip back to your downtown hotel. Once the comedy zone lets out everyone runs and grabs any available taxi. Very difficult to get one and took us over an hour. It was nice to visit this area once, but no reason for me to return. Plenty of things to do in the downtown area within walking distance.
