schedules great visiting artists. A Chinese artist has been there twice in the last 7 years and is scheduled for this summer. He is one of the greatest living water colorists in the world and teaches at Bejing University. I love art and have never seen any from any century better than his wonderful paintings.

I have followed the art on exhibit at Ambleside Gallery for 5 years. Wonderful, quality shows of polished, professional artists who work in many mediums. The gallery is warm and inviting with careful lighting which matches the light in a home. This gallery is located in the part of town I have always referred to as the art district. Several galleries all along the same street are neighbors to the local antique traders, intimate restaurants, and a bookstore coffeehouse and an art collective. I have been visiting Ambleside Art Gallery for five years or more. The proprietor is Jackson Mayshark. He exhibits from all around the globe. Mr. Mayshark takes a keen interest in each visitor to determine that person's art interests also encouraging everyone to explore the vast selection which arrive from many locations as far away as England and China. Most exhibits however are from exceptional local talent......Virginia, North Carolina and all the way to Florida. These are original's for the most part. On First Friday, Mr. Mayshark usually features one or two painters or sculptors. Guests are also treated to the beautiful music from local talent. The exhibits are frequently changed to entertain guests with varieties of tastes. This gallery is exceptional and I encourage anyone who loves fine art to visit. So much beauty!
