greensboro coliseum complex

Went to this years ACC Basketball Tournament. The complex does an excellent job of clearing the coliseum between the afternoon & evening sessions and doing a quick cleaning in the short time allowed. There are a lot of places to get food but not really that many different choices. The same food stands are repeated multiple times on each level. There really are no bad seats for basketball. Some are way up in nose bleed territory but you can see OK. The seats in the lower bowl corners that have a restricted view of the BB court are not sold. They need to pay a little more attention to the condition of the restrooms during events. Parking is concentrated on one end of the complex and you can end up parked a good hike to the coliseum. Plus it is expensive. A far better parking deal - at least for the ACC Tournament - is to park for free at the Sheraton and ride the constant shuttle buses straight to the coliseum. Round trip is only $5. The Coliseum has very few elevators & no escalators to get the the upper level.

This arena has a lot of food choices. But, for a game watching experience, the seats are small even in the expensive areas. The audio system was good though and people were nice. It's a sprawling facility but the cleaning crew could do a better job with the bathrooms instead of standing in there talking on their phones. I saw this every time I went there over 3 days. And there was no toilet paper in some of the stalls and it wasn't swept. If they expect to keep tournaments, they should clean better and give a better fan experience.

Wow, this place is huge. Takes a little time to maneuver around to where you need to go but we had a great time. Lots of choices for food and drinks too.

I attended the 2015 US National Figure Skating Championships in Jan 2015. Arena, is nice, recently redone. But the bathrooms have not been remodeled and could be cleaner and monitored for paper towels. The security was inconsistent - letting people going to their seats during skaters 2-4 minute performances, blocking many others, when they should have been held back and could still see the ice. Also security was inconsistent with checking tickets and enforcement.

My wife and I attended the Joel Osteen Night of Hope. The seats were nice and we had a great view of the stage. They are alittle cramped, but comfortable. The venue is nicely lit and the concession stands were adequate, but slightly over priced. We paid $10 for parking and it's tolerable if you arrive early. Our only issue was the circus traffic and the NOH traffic merged as we left.Overall a nice facility and great experience.

Greensboro did an incredible job. Everyone was very friendly. Security was good but not over the top crazy that you had to wait in lines. It was clean, not cold, and had good viewing from the seats. Food was just ok and expensive-- kind of average for for a coliseum

Nice place to watch skating; the staff is friendly and the sightlines decent if not perfect. They DO need more food options and more people working the concessions during very busy periods in between competitions.

Loved the concert last night featuring Babyface, Bel Biv Devo and Mint Condition! The artist were great very entertaining but the sound system was off, there was lots of feedback and static during the entire concert. Also I didn't like the amount of set up time between acts, otherwise great location and nice facility.

Great venue, great service. Clean and well kept. Vendors were set up well. Nothing to complain about.

We attended the US National Figure Skating Championships. The area is clean, the staff friendly, but the seats are (as is typical) cramped, although they are comfortably cushioned and had clear views of the ice at all angles. The food concessions were adequate but overpriced, also typical for a venue like this - except that for those who had a series ticket for all the events, the nourishment offered by most of the concessions was marginally adequate and very expensive. There was also a serious parking-exit problem on one evening, but a complaint to Guest Services produced immediate and dramatically better results. In short, a very good venue.

Great job - I attended the US Figure Skating Championships at the Coliseum, and everyone did a tremendous job. I had a great time and I heard rave reviews from folks who traveled from further out of town than I did. Great job! I hope we get another nationals!

Awesome venue. Great event! I'd do it again, anytime! Figure Skaters were great! It was over much too soon.

Spent the day at the RV show at the Coliseum. Wonderful venue with clean facilities and expansive layout of RVs indoors and outside.

Good job Greensboro, this is a great facility, nicely laid out and ample parking for expo we attended. Versatile in its uses.Must be a reason why North Carolina Green and Grow continues to hold expo here. Appreciate the central location.

The staff was super! Have never been to a concert venue with such nice staff. The sound was wonderful!
