meadowlark park

I have used this park for years-- easy access fishing, hoops, big play field, playground swings, birds and a creek- very family and kid friendly- Hidden Gem

This is a small park, and really doesn't have much here but a walking trail. The tennis court and the playground are for the apartments that are in the area. There is a decent sized parking lot and you can access the Monon trail from here (it would be to the east with access near the end of Lark Drive). There is a large field, so may be good for kids to run around out there. The walking trails go around a couple of ponds and you can take one trail up to Old Meridian Street.

I just moved to Carmel 1 month ago, but this little nice park, has everything what you need. You can see often, rabbits, and nice birds.They have a nice little picnic area, playground and basketball field as well, very close to Monon Trail, and can be a good short cut for bike riders.
