bellaboo's play and discovery center

The "Illiana" area is rather thin on things to do for small children during winter, but Bellaboo's is a bright spot. Our 1 and 3 year old girls had 2 1/2 hours of fun, various activities, a couple guided things from Bellaboo's staff, and the simple joy of running around with other kids. The prices are very reasonable. The water play room could use some fixing, but I'd bet that such a play space is very hard to maintain. All in all, a mini children's museum was a great thing for Christmas break.

I booked and paid for my son's first birthday party for November 1st, and Bellaboos contacted me two hours before the party was to take place November 1st and cancelled his party. They completely ruined his first birthday. I had to relocate at the last minute, and was unable to get in contact with everyone that was to attend his party. It is now well over a month since we have paid for his party, and I still have yet to receive my refund back from them.

You CAN touch that . It's a hand on play spot for kids if all ages. There is water play, face painting, construction blocks to build, art room with easel And paint brushes kitchen play, infant soft area, book. Room, and much more. A kids dream come true. Out of the sun for a summer break from outside. All in separate rooms to keep them distracted plus a lunch are to enjoy quick lunch. They have some scheduled activities in the kitchen are but mostly just unstructured do whT you want when you want. Nicely done.

My daughter loves it here & so do we! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Another great thing is the environment is educational and very clean! We cannot wait to go back :)

This is a cool spot that kept my 6 year old entertained for ~3 hours. She's a big fan of art & crafts so their art corner was a big hit. The 'soft play' jungle gym was really good as well. The entry fee was quite reasonable in my opinion and everything was in clean, working order throughout. Nicely done.

There is so much to do at Bellaboos. It is a hands on play spot with a water room, construction/block room, train room, art room, face painting station, pizza place, village, house, book nook,kitchen and free play area. My kids love it. I think over 5 might get bored easy. The place is Always clean and has friendly staff

A safe, clean environment for kids under the age of 8 - 9. Various play rooms including a pretend grocery store, pizza parlor, large art room, train room with a large playtable, toddler room, face painting room, 'kids cooking' kitchen which lets the kids put together a little snack themselves. There is an admission charge but coupons are often available on line. There is also a snack bar offering healthy food choices for both kids and adults.

Love this place. It is a little Pricey but this kids played all day and never got board. I compare it to chuck cheese and this is a much better option for younger children. The play place is huge. No huge crowds to deals with, and once you are in the door the fun doesn't end, no need to keep buying Tokens to make the fun last. The pizza for sale at the cafe is much better as well. lOVE THAT IT IS SO CLOSE AND CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN

young kids love to go there! i'm very glad that it's in the area because, especially in inclement weather, it's a great place to spend some time. i do think that it's pretty expensive though. be prepared to spend some money when you go there, just to get in! but it's a real treat for the little ones. it's set up well too so that you can "keep an eye" on the kids. it's a great way for them to run off all that energy they have (so is a park, but this has many more options!) there is an eating area in the center of the place and they sell pizza etc. it is definitely for young children though, not older ones. if you have young ones, try it!

This was the second trip here with our Grandaughter...and she loves it and so do we! There are so many rooms to do things in and they have scheduled events also. The dinosaur dig outside is fun and there is a climbing area also. The restaurant has a good selection and the prices aren't bad for what you get. You feel very safe not having to follow your child around in some of the rooms but instead letting them explore on their own because there are alot of places to sit and watch from the sidelines. Would recommend and can't wait to go back!

This place is very boring if i were a kid i would hate this place
