gasthof amish village

We were on vacation and found a brochure on the amish village and decided to stop there on our way back home. We have gone to Shipshewana, IN many times and thought it might be like that. I was disappointed since there wasn't much there. There was three buildings open. One was an antique/resale shop, but it did have a lot to look at in it. Another building had gifts, amish quilts, etc in it and the other was a restaraunt with a gift shop and bakery in it too. The have the amish buffet food and it looked good but didn't stay to eat since there wasn't anything else to stay for. My husband did see a sign that said they have a flea market there during the week sometime. There also was a bigger building in another area that I will assume is the Inn to stay at, but we didn't go over there to see it. I was surprised that there wasn't other things to do since it was a weekend day that we stopped by. The people that worked there were very nice, friendly and helpful though. We had a bakery snack on the porch swing there and left.
