Great family attraction not to far away from great camping at Mississinewa and good eats in Kokomo. The tigers and elephants never cease to amaze even the oldest audience member. I highly recommend The Siding for eats in peru.

I returned to the circus after over a decade while I was home for my sisters wedding. It was great to see all of the locals performing. It is amazing all of the work these kids put into the show. Way to go!!!

Peru is well known for its amateur circus, which is put on for a week every July. I have attended the show for twenty years, and the performance has been consistently good, and I strongly recommend that if you are in the area, and especially if you have children, to pay them a visit. This year I decided to take in the professional show at the Hall of Fame as well. The show blew me away! The Wallendas put on a display of balance and wire walking beyond anything I've seen outside of Las Vegas. Sadly I have to report that the museum itself is starting to show its age, but it is still worth visiting.

If you are there during the Circus City Festival during the third week in July, be sure to see the Big Top Circus. For the last few years, it has featured the Great Wallendas, the legendary wire walkers. The circus food is pretty good, too. However, the displays are being allowed to rot away and it's pretty sad. The wagons and miniature circus are in terrific shape, though.

It was ok Was nice to see locale kids performing but other then that was not really that into it. Had my grandkids and they were ok at first but got bored easily.

Tom and his wife gave my husband and me a tour and shared his passion for the circus. We plan to return to Peru for the actual circus in summer 2013 - so contagious was his enthusiasm. Very interesting and informative tour; Tom told fascinating circus stories. He's an expert on the subject, and we are glad we took this side trip while in Wabash, IN at the Charlie Creek Inn. Depending on how much you want to know, the tour takes an hour or two.
