Pretty decent size track and about $20 to race for 8 minutes. Took a large group of people and had a blast. Would return again. A little cold in the winter as it is "indoor" but doesn't seem to be heated. Snack bar area and tables to sit and watch if you disnt want to ride. Also a small arcade.
Great fun for the whole family. The friendly, knowledgeable staff made for a great experience. This would be a great activity for tweens and teens who have fewer entertainment options in the area.
Took our grand children to the indoor carting and they loved it. The ages of our grandkids are 18 and 12 they both thought that the track was great! The helmets were provided at the track and there was a nice viewing area with lots of glass so that you don't miss a single smile on their faces.Prices were within our budget and had a snack bar right in the viewing area. There is also a Amish restaurant attached to the viewing area. GREAT FOOD also.
What a great way to get an adrenaline rush! Everything is nice and clean, activities for all ages with the inflatables and games too, plus pizza and snacks available and tons of windows for watching all the action on the course.
Very close to hotels.Walking distance is great exercise for us seniors with Grandkids. There is a restaurant there also and a snack bar.The restaurant is Amish owned and great food.
It's great to stay in one of storied resort hotels going back over 150 years. The total renovation in the last ten years yielded a large and well-appointed guest room. Friendly staff, dining was excellent at Hagen's and the lobby area is gorgeous! Very relaxing on the great front porch in rocking chairs under the fans. Nice pool, spa, shopping, and places to walk. I would recommend French Lick and it's sister resort West Baden Springs only a mile away---both have fabulous histories and the staff works to create it pleasant and memorable getaways. World class golf and recreation close at hand. It is like stepping back to a simpler more gracious time in Midwest history---great Hoosier Hospitality!
I don't know if it was just the staff this particular day or if it's always like this, but they were pricks. The manager complained that our party had too many people even though there was no notification of such a thing prior to our visit. The staff at the front desk was friendly, but the two guys working in the pit were awful and incompetent. They were not safety oriented at all. They spent the majority of the race time talking to each other and not paying attention to what was going on. My car then got hit several times by other drivers and I had to use the brakes to keep from crashing. Staff then flagged me down and asked why I was locking the brakes up. I then told them that people kept hitting me and I had to in order to avoid crashing. They said they didn't see anything, probably because they weren't paying attention. My car was then penalized and reduced to half speed for the rest of the race, and again at the start of the second race even though during the second race I didn't touch the brakes once. They even saw one of the other drivers crash into me, and didn't flag him. During the second race, someone caused a multiple car pile up by side-swiping another driver, and then staff reduced the speed of the guy who got side-swiped instead of the guy who caused the wreck! It's obvious that they care more about how their cars are running, and the brakes getting worn out than their customers possibly being injured. The price was also a little steep for two very short races. Would not recommend, and will definitely not be back.
They were VERY safety oriented. The exhaust fumes were a little overpowering. We enjoyed the digitally monitored time and speed. Our group had fun but it is hard for a spectator to watch and take pics. It was OK. It was a little pricy too.
There is nothing to dislike. A great place to visit and enjoy to the finest. It took a lot of thought and finacing to bring this resort back to the past. You will enjoy every minute of it, for peace and refinement.
Nice and clean facility. The gocarts are in really good shape and go fast. It wasn't crowded at all. My kids, 10, 10, and 13 enjoyed the gocarts more than the waterpark
My wife and I stopped in to eat at the Black Buggy, but I gotta admit as soon as I saw it was tied to this Indoor Karting place, I knew we were gonna do it. We had an absolute blast. The karts themselves are fast and the track layout allows for passing all over the place. They also give you print outs at the end of your race to see how did against the competition. I initially thought it was pricey for only an 8 minute race, but it was worth every penny. Would totally do it again.
My 9 and 12 year old went karting for the first time. They both struggled to get out of the pits, but quickly got the hang of it. We felt good about their safety, helmet, neck brace, etc are all included.
Stayed for fall break at the waterpark. Our boys loved this indoor kart track. Safety comes first here, which is great! First time I have ever had to watch a safety video on how to use and operate the go kart and track. The best facility of this kind we have ever been to, and can't wait to return!
My husband really enjoyed the go carts. He said it was fast and fun. It is attached to an Amish Buffett which is weird but it seemed nice. There were some arcade games and snacks/drinks were sold there. The kid carts are new and are for ages 3 and up so we can't wait to take our son back when he is old enough.
Our whole family did 3 races! Our 8 and 13 loved it! They let the family race by themselves which makes it so much fun! Carts are good and easy to learn and fast!
