boogie nights evansville

We have been going here every few months as a get away. We enjoy the 80's music and the staff that dress and play the parts. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The drink prices are somewhat high, and there is a cover charge, but for the experience it is nice. Most folks forget that this club is only open on the weekends so they have to make their money then. The security is good, and make you feel comfortable. I again have saw no issues with security or safety. The contests, and special nights are the nights to go.

The music is phenomenal. THAT I will not deny! The drinks, however, are WAY overpriced, and most of it watered down with unrecognizable juices. I found myself leaving most of my drink on the table because it simply tasted terrible. The karaokee was about the worst experience I've ever had. The DJ pretty much caters to whomever he knows, and no matter how many songs they've already sung or how terrible, you have to wade through them to your turn. When I finally got to sing, the DJ's "friends" were becoming drunk and aggressive by that point and were trying to take the microphone from me by that point. He ignores it, and let's it carry on. We waited nearly 2 hours to get to sing. And there was a very small group there. I highly recommend the downstairs, but highly do NOT recommend the upstairs.

This is a great club, playing music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The setup of the club is great with two bars, disco balls and roomy dance floor. The employees dress the parts of go go dances and rap stars from the past. The prices for drinks are not bad, the cover charge is reasonable. The security makes rounds as well as the Evansville Police had a few officers roaming the club. I did not notice any issues such as fights. The locatiin is easy to access and near the Casino and a couple of hotels. I wouls for sure go back, it was a fun night.

This is the place to dance your butt off. It was great to reminisce your "back in the day" times. Great music... a bit too loud but great music.
