harvey house museum

Unfortunately, this home is not being restored at the time. It looks interesting from the outside, but it is not open for public tours at this time. Apparently all of the funding for the historical sites in Leavenworth is being funneled to the Carousel Museum and the Harvey House Museum sits untouched. Very disappointing!

I stopped by thus house st midnight and saw several glowing orbs inside. There were also a lot of shadows patrolling the grounds and the sounds of a man screaming.

I didn't get to tour the museum, I got there after it closed. But there is an audio board on the corner that tells the story of the first fast food chain. And the architecture is Psycho come to life. I would love to attend a Halloween Party there. The ambience of the surrounding neighborhood is Rockwellian. I'm glad I stopped by!
