This labor of love by a real train engineer is a delight for children and adults. His wife serves as guide and her love and respect for her husbands' foible is evident in every description of the vacuum, microwave, VCR and other household appliances he has moved from the house to the barn. His clever use of these appliance motors, gears and switches have been harnessed to become, the circus, drive-in theatre, house construction sight and a myriad of other backgrounds for the model train sets he creates. There is so much going on in his miniature worlds the trains are almost an afterthought. This is a sight that has to be visited on multiple occasions to see even a fraction of the work. Plus he continues to create new scenes. We plan to return with the grandchildren and have already recommended this to other families. This is a train themed Disneyland in a midwestern barn.
