I have played here over several years. It's scenic, and you need to have a pretty good golf game. The course is relatively open, so, for someone like me who is not necessarily in the fairway, you still have a shot. This course is relatively expensive, in my opinion, for central Wisconsin. The restaurant inside is practical, your typical golf course food, hot dogs, hamburgers etc.. The location is a little out of the way, but , if you're a true golfer, you'll get there.
While a few of the famous replica holes stretch the invagination a bit, the course is a great play. Get the internet rates, and it's a reasonable price as well.
It is a very well-maintained course. I was able to get a special tee time price for only $37 a person. Otherwise I think during the summer it is $95 a person to play. That price seems a little steep to me. The course itself is well-kept. The hole locations were difficult. Even the whites, which I play, were over 6400 yards total. It is a challenging course, but it is a fun course to play.
This course is great -- grab a stay and play package and you won't regret it. This is a replica course and I believe 9 of the 18 holes are replica. The course is well kept and absolutely gorgeous.
As couples, we enjoyed the challenge. Such beauty! Such a concept!
Replica course that has several nice replica holes. the balance of the course is average.Condition is marginal.
I love golfing at Northern Bay.. it is a beautiful course but I think the prices are a bit high for where it is located..about 35 minutes north of the dells. The gentlemen at the pro shop desk are always friendly but unfortunately one of the rangers was a bit rude through out our last round played there. . Felt like we were being pushed in our pace... and NO ONE was behind us.. and there was a group in front of us. The cart girls were great..always are.The course is beautiful and very challenging. I will golf there again, but hope the prices drop a bit (doubt it) or have some specials... and teach that particular ranger some manners.
