Ahoy! It is always great to hear from repeat visitors. Cana Island is an extraordinary place that can be visited again and again...every day is different. We are proud of the progress we've made in improving the visitor experience, i.e. new parking lot, new toilet facilities, etc. This summer we embarked on the next phase--a major restoration effort on the exterior of the lighthouse and keeper's quarters. We hope to continue our restoration efforts on the other historic buildings over the next few years. Please know that a portion of your admission fee will help fund the restoration work. Thank you!
