Great spots to picnic with the family or a group plus playground equipment. Take in a ballgame, fish at the lower park, feed the ducks, hike, or visit the old schoolhouse, Paul Bunyon lumbering exhibits, or the newly redone Chippewa Valley Museum.

It's very peaceful and quiet. I loved playing there when I visited family as a kid. Love the park too, it's great for kids.

Carson Park is a beautiful area to spend any time. We were there for a football game- loved it. The fans are great and the marching band is excellent. There are a lot of great trails around the park to explore. Loved all the fall colors. I would highly recommend visiting during a football game to get the whole experience- especially if the UWEC Marching Band is there!

Very relaxing place. It's been around forever, so the trees are tall and give NICE shade. Not crowded at all because it is a larger park. Plenty of quiet and peaceful areas. This is where you can hear a tree branch snap in the wind. Love it.It's not the most modern place, so only reason we didn't give it a 5 star rating.

We were at Carson Park recently for a UW Eau Claire Football game. Although the game did not turn out as we hoped, the stadium was a pleasant surprise. The parking lot provided ample parking with plenty of room for tailgating and pre-game fun. This stadium had one of the best announcer sound systems I've ever heard. Everything was crystal clear with no echoes! The seating was plentiful and the bleachers are close enough to the field that you really fell part of the action. Next time we visit, we will check out the park grounds.

If you are a history lover, this is a great place to visit. Loved the way it was decorated and the narratives at various points were fun to listen..

Really fun 1/4 scale railroad ride through the woods. The railroad has two real steam engines and one diesel. Kids and adults can ride in the cars. The crew all wear railroad clothes and made the whole experience fun for our whole family.

i found this little bluff years ago, & was delighted to return & find it just the same, with an updated playground on the "lower level". You can drive through the large parking lot & past the playground or take the road from either gate to get up to the peaceful, scenic drive that winds around the bluff.

Lots to do here. From canoeing and kayaking brains bay and half moon lake to the museum, the park, ball games, etc. It is quiet, maintained, and clean.

Enjoyed an afternoon with a toddler. There is quite a variety of toys for children of all ages...and more than one dad felt it necessary to take their little ones down the "big" tube slides. I'm almost convinced the kids enjoyed it as much as they did!

We get Express baseball tickets, catch the game and then have a seat for the fireworks. There are a lot of activities throughout the day at the museums for families with younger children. And the train rides are fun.

When we visit grandparents they always love to grab some fried chicken and take us for a picnic at Carson park. The playground is huge and they have some unique tube slides. It's also very pretty and great for family photos.
