I have visited Simple Life Country Store many times and always leave happy. I love their soft pretzel mix, their hand rolled butter, and their local beef. I also usually indulge in a treat or two -- have you ever been in the store after Sue's mixed up a batch of cashew butter? Oh my. So divine.Since the addition I like the place even more. The mix of antiques and functional kitchen goods are reasonably priced and high quality. Some are reproductions, some are genuine, but all are interesting. Simple Life's workers and owners are also stellar. Generous and engaged. Really, it's been a gift since its opening. --A local

A Simple Life Country Store would not be a surprise in Napa Valley, Bridgehampton, or even Lake Geneva, but it was a happy surprise to find near Fort Atkinson. It has a fantastic variety of ingredients and foods that will appeal to anyone interested in food or cooking. You certainly won't find most of what it sells in the average grocery store, but it is very much worth an extra trip.
