pudges bar

We went to Pudge's on the night of a Packers preseason game. Pudge's is in WI so we thought we would be welcomed as Packer fans. Nope. Not only was the TV not on, but the bartender (owner) said "Well the important game is on tomorrow night." Referencing the Vikings game. We finally got him to put the game on a TV and he wouldn't put it on the TV in front of us, he put it on one far away from us. There was also a ton of snickering once the people found out we were Pack fans. We had gone to Pudge's in the fall for years to watch the Pack games with no problems. The only problem we've had there was with the actual owner himself! Not very smart to not welcome all fans into your bar, way to treat patrons! Not! In the end I complained about the treatment, the owner then called me "Oversensitive." Suffice to say, we will not be back and my husband feels the same. Thumbs down to Pudge's in Hudson, Packer fans stay away!

This is a place you go to if you just want to have a cocktail or a beer. They are an on off liquor sale establishment with a full bar. In the summer they have a patio with live music and sometimes bingo. They also have pool tables and dart boards inside. If your going here for the food and expect anything more then bar food, your in the wrong place. It's a bar not an upscale dinning experience.

So much potential...sigh. Food is lackluster and takes forever to get. You can only get pizza after a certain time. I'll admit, even thought the pizza is frozen, it's pretty good. Would be wise to invest in a small grill to push out some decent food. Beer good, cold, reasonably priced. Service is sparse. Go for the music. They have jazz on the patio Thursday and Friday nights. That's worth the drive. And their patio is really nice. Fire pits, lots of seating. A real nice atmosphere.

Worst food I have erer had, Hands down! Nacos from the gas stations, Cheeseburger was terrible, Buffalo wings the worst ever, fries OK at best. The price for all that YUCK plus four beers $48.00. Worst money ever spent! Never will go back!

First time writing a review, couldn't resist after the terrible experience we just had! Food took nearly an hour, had to check the and status several times, no condiments, no napkins, no utensils. The price for three people to have two beers and terrible burgers cooked on a George Foreman grill was $42! Top that off with rude server and we're guaranteed never to go back!

Pudges has invested in a fence, tables, fireplaces etc for an alfresco experience. Since Pier 500 was swamped, we thought we would try eating there. DON'T unless you just want bar food. a selection of hamburgers, pizza and appetizers. DW ordered chicken wings. Must have been from old laying hens. Mostly skin and breading. YUCK. My hamburger was OK. At the end the waitress says we only take cash! What century are they from?

Pudges has two pool tables, slot machines, darts, etc. A drink and a beer is about 5-6 bucks. The only negative is that the music is usually pretty loud and the bar tenders don't seem to like to turn it down.

The bartender was very rude. My brother and I asked him about his opinion on the beer and he told us he was busy and we need to hurry.
