We had a great time white water rafting. We did not really no what to expect since this was our first time white water rafting. The drive was a four hours but it was well worth it to us! We brought a disposable water camera which we took a few pictures and purchased the photos after we were done rafting by the professional. If we could have changed anything about our experience it would probably been to bring a go pro camera and to bring a larger group so that we could have experienced this with friends instead of strangers. As far as safety goes you could tell that this group Wildman Adventure took safety seriously which was very important considering we were on a class 4 rapid. It is important that you do listen to your guide. Im glad that my first experience white water rafting was with the Wildman Adventure group. We had a great time and I would recommend the experience to others.

Fantastic place for these adventures. We did the mini-vacation, & added the ziplining for the Thursday prior. All guides and employees were helpful, friendly, & engaging. They are Wildman's best asset!! They also helped to ensure that all other guests were well acquainted and involved. All events were well timed and spaced to keep you energized and left enough down time for rest and/or travel to the other location. Food for the mini-vacation may not have been the best, but perfectly adequate. The rafting events were both fantastic. It was amazing that they must have arranged that any rain during the weekend happened DURNG the rafting events only, which added to the excitement.Highly recommended!!

What a great experience!! My family of 4 booked a zip line tour & whitewater rafting trip with Wildman Ranch & had the best time. Our guide for rafting was James & he did a great job! I was very nervous for our first ever rafting trip but he made me feel very safe & was great with our kids. After going over all the safety things we needed to know for our trip he asked our kids if they wanted to play some games while we floated down a very calm part of the river. We had a extra raft towing behind the raft we rode in so we could go over the class 4 rapids twice. He had the kids playing games on that raft trying to see who would fall in first & make them comfortable in the water. As far as the actual rafting goes I have one word to describe...Amazing!! I didn't want the trip to come to a end! For our zip line tour we had 2 guides, Sam & another girl who I can't remember her name. It was raining when we started the zip tour but the girls did a great job making sure we enjoyed every moment of the tour. Once again I was very nervous because I have a huge fear of heights. The girls never once tried to rush me & did their best trying to calm my fears. My kids & husband loved every second of it! The highlight of our trip was the rafting & our whole family has said they cant wait to go back & do it again!

As a first time rafter I was more than a little nervous! Rebecca in the office answered all my silly questions and put me at ease. Our guide on the Menominee River was Jeff. He was very engaging and got everyone interacting with each other. Ziplining was fun too! Guides Evan and James were great and fun to zip with. If you are ever in the NW corner of WI, they are a great place to check out!

We had planned the Menominee River Whitewater Rafting Wild Ride in advance. The night before our rafting trip, I emailed and booked a zip line tour for the morning of the rafting. I also telephoned, to be sure we were on the same page. The reservations/additions went very smoothly. All employees were very friendly & helpful. Anthony & Jeff were our zip line guides. They were very knowledgeable and safety-conscious, even though they "seemed" goofy. They had us singing, yelling, and screaming on the zip lines, and we had contests for best, worst, and most creative rides. We had a blast, but we also knew we were in good hands. For the wild ride (white water rafting), Jeff was our guide. Since we had met him that am, we were the first raft on the river. We have been swimming with dolphins, snorkeling with stingrays, scuba, and much more... But our 17 & 19 year old daughters enjoyed this much more than any other adventure we've ever been on! Jeff was an awesome river guide, and he just seemed to mesh with our family. When we hit Volkswagen Rock, and my daughter cross-tackled my husband out of the raft, Jeff had her back in the boat before I could turn around! This was possibly the BEST adventure we have ever had. If you go here, ask for Jeff and/or Anthony! We will definitely be back!

I just have to say this is the best place to go and have a wonderful time. Everyone is so friendly!! We had Jeff as our guide for whitewater rafting and Jeff and Frances for our ziplining and they are both great!!! So if you are looking for some fun this is the place to go!

My husband and I went for a weekend. This was the absolute best camping adventure of my life. We stayed at the Peshtigo resort, but drove to the Menominee resort for our adventures; which was about a 45 minute drive, but was mostly country roads so it was fine. The campsite was right on the water, which was so relaxing as there were rapids near. The most soothing sound!! I am usually a resort kind of girl, but this tenting was so fun, the sites were amazing! The staff was amazing. I actually locked my keys in the car and one of the workers family members lived up the street and unlocked my car and wouldn't let me pay him for it. Anyway, the fishing here was amazing, so much fun. The adventures we did were whitewater rafting and zip-lining. Both our tour guides were awesome. James was our rafting guide and was AMAZING!!! It was pretty impressive he was guiding 2 boats and was spectacular. Super nice (and pretty hot). Morgan was our zip-lining guide and was awesome too!! This place has the absolute best staff, so friendly! The bathrooms were clean, takes quarters as a sidenote. Had a fun volleyball court, which the workers were playing and allowed me to get in on a game. Great adventures will do the kayaking next year. Highly recommend!!!!!

If you are up in the Northwoods of WI - by all means, this is an excellent opportunity to share some great memories. The Zip-Lining was 5 stages of lines traversing through the tree tops of the golf course down below. Mikey and Katy our guides were fun and provided us with a safe experience. The Menomonee River - White Water Rafting experience was the highlight of our trip and our guide Luke did an amazing job of explaining the in's and out's so to speak. Being able to run the gorge twice as part of the Wildman package, was having us wanting more. That being said, we would definitely do the rafting again.Overall, the extremely polite staff - easy check in process - total cost - location - proximity to Crivitz area < an hour away, made this an excellent day trip for our familiy. The added bonus was spending time hiking to the various Falls in the area such as Bulls Falls / Dave's Falls.

We went for a family zip-lining outing. The cost was very reasonable from what I have seen. The course had a couple of longer lines but only a total of 5. Most of the lines went over the golf course so not the most scenic, but the adventure is still there. Our guides were Mikey and Morgan and they were great, made it a lot of fun. Website says you must be 12, when we called they said must weigh 70 pounds but while there they said they would have taken a 65 pound kid in the family if he had been prepared to go. I have been to one other place that had more interesting platforms and stairways between the platforms, however the cost was about 50% more.
