We go to the spark quite a bit in the summer months. We enjoyed taking her to your old because there's a separated area for younger kids versus the older kids. During the daytime younger kids can generally use the older kids sides because most of them are in school.Great park!!!!
When friends come to visit with their children, this is where they want to go.The park is a pirates adventure filled with planks, slides, moving bridges and lots of fun. There are areas for little ones as well as older kids. There is even a place for kids to play music or act out a play. Lots of fun to be had at the imagination station! It's amazing park built by the community. Go play!
This is the best park we have ever been too. This is the first place our grandchildren want to go to when they come visit. It is clean and safe.
Great playground with accessibility. There's a special section created just for toddlers. New bathrooms were opened in 2014. Always seems to be well cared for. Benches for adults who get worn out quicker than the little ones! Bike trail.
My 3 year old grandson loved it! There were lots of options to climb and run. Even adults could enjoy it.
I took my niece to this playground and I was beyond amazed She had a great time! There were areas for both toddlers and young kids. Bathrooms are available along with bubblers. Roosevelt park is right across the street for a nice picnic after playing. Great addition to Oconomowoc
We hiked the Lake Country Trail, which begins at this park. What a fantastic playground! We plan to bring our granddaughter back next week, when she visits us. The picnic tables under the shady trees will be perfect for a picnic lunch, too.
They have a little bit of everything! There are swings, teeter totter, tire swing, climbing tree that goes about 20 feet in the air, and much more.It was really awesome to be able to try all the different types of monkey bars, and climbing ropes.I definitely check it out!
Imagination Station in beautiful Roosevelt Park, Oconomowoc, WI, is an extraordinary experience for children of ALL abilities. Built by hundreds of volunteers in 2009, this 16,000 sq.ft. playground for toddlers through young teens is a sensory encounter of color and sound, as well as physical movement. Parents will love that it is enclosed with one exit/entrance. Also on-site are benches, picnic tables, a pavilion, and a handicap bathroom (built 2013). Well worth many visits! Without a doubt this has to be the best playground that I've ever been to. If you haven't experienced the Imagination Station and/or are thinking about it, you need to scoot over there for a great time your kids will love you for. It starts with a single entry/exit point. Ideal for moms and dads to keep tabs on the little rugrats. Much of the playground has been built "all-accessible" with people with varying disabilities to enjoy. Ramps and access points have been widened to accommodate those that require wheel chairs. The ground is a rubber/soft surfacing, ideal for little tikes trying to learn to walk. If they stumble, they will stumble on a somewhat comforting surface. There is a copy-cat band shell (similar to the one downtown) to let the kids showcase their creative talents, along with "hands-on" instruments that ring beautiful sound throughout the park...even if they choose to just bang on the bells. The park surrounding the Imagination Station has picnic areas (some with grills) and as of this writing they are building a "restroom facility for everyone" right now. If the playground is any indication, they will build this with quality in mind.A unique feature of the park is the fence surrounding the playground. It has names on many pickets of the gracious donors of the park. One more thing. My family and I are fortunate to live nearby to be able to enjoy it frequently. When we have company come over for birthdays, etc, they always ask if we can go to the Imagination Station. What you will notice is that beyond the park, the local atmosphere is genuinely sincere and kind. You'll have a hard time finding a better place to enjoy time with your family at absolutely no cost. So, don't hesitate. Bring a picnic basket, bring the little ones, perhaps a camera (gotta capture those smiles). You will not regret this trip. Your only regret will be wishing you've been there in the past.
