sheboygan spaceport

Our family made a visit to Sheboygan's harbor area and visited the new Sheboygan Spaceport. Unusually located in Southeastern Wisconsin right on Lake Michigan is this low key but educational and hands on museum of space travel.Reasonably priced and directed by a seasoned ex NASA veteran this little gem can be easily toured while visiting other fun things to do in Sheboygan (but for space geeks its a destination too). The tour was fun and educational and touching given the friendship of those lost on the Columbia disaster of the director. Children got to participate in hands on experiments and found the space potty story hilarious. The center's second floor is a space themed party rental with inflatable fun and space themed rooms. Our kids want to come back for more -so its a winner with us.
