Graduated from here as a nontraditional student with a Masters in Environmental Education and Interpretation. Wonderful professors, great classes.

My daughter is a freshman at UWSP - we were able to visit her this weekend and she took us on a tour and it is such a great campus!

what an experience I had in Stevens Point campus, nice people in town and beautiful girls too. the staff in the UWSP are very kind and helpful. I had my ESL classes there back in 2007 and I have nice memories and very good friends.

I am a 'Point Grad from back in 2000 and I will say that my degree has opened doors for me and well prepared me for my chosen path. There are not many schools these days that have the record and reputation that Stevens Point does---especially in the biological sciences. I had my choice of three jobs waiting for me upon graduation.I am now getting my PhD in Forestry and I will say that I owe it all to the foundational education that I received at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Thank you!

We were in town for the 8th grade basketball State tournament, and everyone really liked the facilities. This was a very clean place, and well maintained. The campus was attractive as well.

I've gone here for the past two years, just started my third, and I think it's amazing! The campus is beautiful, the community is great, and the classes are amazing!

I love my alma mater; always new things to see and do, along with hanging out at old haunts, reminiscing, shopping and meeting friends.

I attended the University in the mid-80's and loved living on campus and the UWSP spirit. There clearly have been many updates and changes which I enjoyed seeing. I was very disappointed that the new Union wasn't open yet since I wanted to see what has changed there, but upon my next visit for sure.

My school, what can I say. Who would thing that in central Wisconsin would lurk a gem of a college with nationally recognized programs?

Took classes for my UWO MBA at UWSP. Buildings well cared for, nicely laid out campus. My wife graduated from UWSP as well as many of my employees. A good quality education in a friendly small town atmosphere for a very good price. Good food and good recreation in the area.

We attended the American Suzuki Institute Camp here. The fine arts facilities are fabulous. Wonderful theatres and classrooms. The cafeteria on campus is also great. Healthy selections and a good variety!

There isn't much else to do in town, so you may as well take a look at the the university. But in comparison to other major universities, there really isn't much to see.

Here for a summer seminar. It is very inconvenient. - construction everywhere - things spread out. Parking is far away from dorms. The dorm room air system smells moldy. The food was about average for poor cafeteria food - lots of carbs. To me it seems this is such a small college that there isn't much of a "college town" feel about the surrounding area. I think the buildings are not attractive.I will say the recycling system is great.

If you visit the University for the day, you'll find a lot to do. They have a Museum of Natural History in the library, which is actually really cool, and the University is right next to Schmeekle Reserve. In fact, I think they own it. They have walking paths there, a lake for fishing (no swimming), and it's a great place to relax. The University also has the Allen Center (a workout gym) but that, of course, costs money. However, there they have ellipticals, weights, tredmills, bikes, and much more. You can also find recreational rentals in the Allen Center such as kayaks, canoes, camping gear, etc. You can also go to the TNR building and see the alligator they have there, which lives in a room with huge glass windows that you can just look in from the hallway. The DUC building has some good places to eat and the NFAC has an art gallery that hosts events throughout the school year, along with other art around the halls. As far as the actual University goes, I think it's a great place to go to school, especially because the campus is pretty small (10 minute walk across it) and I don't like big cities.
