animal haven zoo

Our family loved this zoo. It has so many different kind of animals! We're from Chicago and honestly this place is better than Lincoln Park and Brookfield Zoo, minus all of the manicured lawns and landscaping but we didn't care. The kids loved this place and we will visit again when back in the area.

Lots of animals. friendly staff. Amazing entertainment value. My 3 year old loved the animal selection and the feeding opportunities.

I go here every summer and always have a great time. The people are so nice and most of the animals are so friendly! I couldn't imagine if this zoo wasn't here.

A wonderful zoo that's a diamond in the rough, so to say. I've been coming here for a few years now and enjoy every single visit. Two years ago, my family decided to give the owners our Capuchin monkey who was getting too hard to handle and became diabetic. We visit him every month and he is doing great! They care a lot about him and take very good care of him. They not only take great care of our monkey, but every single one of their animals that call Animal Haven Zoo their home. The owners and staff are all very hardworking, friendly, and knowledgeable about the animals they take care of. A great place to take your family or large group; they even offer tours for school groups. The admission fee is pretty low and you can buy feed for the animals at a low price as well.

My parents invited us to go on a Sunday afternoon, along with our two young children (1 and 3). My expectations were not especially high, given its "out of the way" location, but boy, was I wrong. It turned out to be a great experience. Talk about getting close up...it doesn't get much better. Nice store, the paths were easy to navigate, and the variety (of animals) was great. While the larger zoos in Milwaukee and Chicago are great, this one is much more intimate, and the day we were there, we were one of 20 people! Feed the potbelly pigs, deer, ducks, etc. Our 3 yr old LOVED it. One of the workers (maybe even an owner, I don't recall) walked and talked with us about caring for the animals. Very interesting! It's definitely worth taking time to see, even if you would need to drive an hour or more.

What a beautiful zoo, and very well maintained! The owners' passion for their critters is seen all over the facility...and the reception area is beautiful! We visited this zoo on a Friday afternoon, to kill a little time before our next engagement, and we will definitely be back! The front office & store is a beautiful building and very welcoming! We were surprised at the variety of animals there & the walking trail was very nice and well-kept.Can't wait to take our kids again in the future!

My wife and I have been to the Animal Haven Zoo in the Weyauwega , WI area numerous times over the last few years. The zoo is set up in a nice walkable paths. They provide feed at a price to be given to the animals. It is a very enjoyable time.

it is a family run place, small but lots of animals, clean a small resurant also they have special events during the year for kids

This is a great little zoo. It was a relaxing walk down the paths to see all the different animals. This zoo lets you feed all the animals, unlike all the Big Zoos in the cities. It is worth the drive in my opinion to see this place, Me and my wife had a great time.

for a smaller zoo in the chain o'lakes area or centural wisconsin this is one of the best . it is owned by a local family and they work really hard to make sure that all the animals are taken care of all the time. if you are in the area this is one place you surely should stop. young and young at heart are all welcomed. even if you are in a wheelchair or some specail devise you well be able to get around.
