Dennis is the master mind and master brewer of this operation -- one of the smallest commercial breweries in Wisconsin. The beers are definitely on the creative side -- a little too much for this old palate accustomed to traditional brews and strong hops. Some rather unusual combinations, like the coconut wheat and the saffron ale may appeal to some, but didn't do anything for me. Still, a friendly place, with reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere.

Stumbled onto this place by accident. Drove by on way to Wyalusing state park. Woodman is town of 132. Felt like I was in an era gone by. Talked to Dennis the Brew master for 45 minutes and sampled his brews. Very knowledgeable about beer and his variety of beers were outstanding. Bar and restaurant had rustic charm. Stop and enjoy.
