I golfed here the end of August 2014 while here for my son's wedding. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The course is stunning and a challenge with narrow fairways, rolling hills, and plenty of woods and trouble if you don't hit real straight. But we had a blast.

The course was in fantastic condition and the greens were perfect. You will not be disappointed with any of the 3 nines.Enjoy fall golf.

This has to have been one of my most memorable days on the golf course. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a professional staff who clearly made us feel welcomed. As women golfers, this has not always been the case at other courses. We had an early morning Tee time with no one ahead or pushing us from behind. The weather was perfect but the scenery and condition of course was what made this course so memorable. While challenging, it's very playable. However, if you have difficulty walking hills I would not recommend you play on a day when it is cart path only. We preferred the Canyon course over The Lake but I believe that only had to do with the scenery. We ate in the bar following our round and once again were met by a very professional staff. The food was excellent and the atmosphere equally impressive. I've heard great things about their impressive Sunday Brunch. No question .....I'll be back. Don't miss this opportunity.

I had heard good things about Patrick Steffes, the teaching pro at Trappers, so I made an appointment for a lesson. I'm in my 60's and haven't had a lesson in many years. My golf game was in a state of decline. (I am an 18 handicap) My 45 min. lesson with Patrick was game changing! He didn't try to mess with my 40 year swing. He simply showed me 2 things to change. The results have been remarkable! I am hitting fairways like never before. I asked him after the lesson to look at my equipment, and provide some advice. He introduced me to the club pro, Bob Gander, and shared with him his thoughts on what he thought might help. Bob examined my "bag", and suggested a new driver and a couple of "utility" clubs. Never did I feel that they were trying to "sell" me something. I took Bob's recommendations, and am now getting off the tee regularly, and hitting fairways like I have never done! Golf is fun again! Both of these guys are PGA professionals. I highly recommend them....and happy I found them. Anxious for my second lesson this week!

We played all 27 holes we spent 3 days playing the courses. It is a masterpiece designed by Andy North and Roger Packard. It is a championship courses offering lakes, bunkers ,lots of hills and lovely white swans. For those that like wild life there is plenty to see. The club house is 10,000 square feet of space for restaurants, pro shop with Fish fries on Fridays. The score cards show the courses and there are also GP that show the exact location of each hole.

ok, I golf 2 to 3 times per year, so I am not the best judge. But I found the facilities to be very clean, new looking and the course to be beautiful. It did not appear to be too challenging, although it crushed me (again, not a golfer). I really liked the super long bridge over the large lake covered with flowers. Also, you can enjoy 'mini-dells' in the ravines. Maybe catch a turkey or deer if lucky.

Trappers Turn is a top notch professional golf course. Accuracy off the tee is a must due to the yardage on a lot of the holes. Tight lies, tricky water hazards, fairly pricey, but besides that the views are beautiful and the course is very well taken care of. The only thing I would say, if your not a bogey golfer or better find an easier course than this.

It's been years since I played this course, so I was looking forward to it. The course was wet, so the balls plugged on several holes. Not the courses fault, but the group in front of us were not avid players and were searching for their balls often. We were told to order from the carts gps system before the turn, but their screen never came up. So when we ordered at the turn, they had nothing "ready". After waiting for our sandwiches to go, we found out we could have ordered and they would have brought our food out on the course. Well that communication didn't get to us in time. We played later in September and the rates were still over $100 per person. Not sure the value was there compared to other courses we played.

Weather was great. Course is in very good shape. Very good staff. There is some distance, and several of the holes require an accurate tee shot or you are in trouble. Very interesting collection of holes, greens in a tight bowl surrounded by cliffs, wide open fairways, then holes that have water hazards. Very enjoyable, challenging, but not so difficult as to take away from the fun. FYI - I am an average golfer.

This is a top course. They take great care of it too. It is vey challenging and you have to be able to drive well because some holes are long. Great views all through the course.

I've had 4 dinners at Trappers Turn in the past few months. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of food, service, atmosphere and price. I've had prime rib several times, always prepared to perfection, nice salad bar with good soup. The garlic cheese bread is wonderful. So far it hasn't been too busy. The service is good and it's quiet enough to have nice dinner conversation. I recommend this restaurant. Very enjoyable.
