bowling at bedford elks country club

I didn't realize Bedford had a bowling alley! This is located downstairs in the Elk's Country Club, but the bowling alley is open to the public and has a large parking lot. From the outside it looks quite small, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised at the size and how nice this alley was. There are plenty of lanes, and plenty of seating and tables. Everything looked spotless and shiny. We were a bit disappointed that ALL the lanes on a Friday night were reserved for the leagues, but they had a glow bowl later in the evening. The young man working was extremely friendly and helpful. When we were disappointed about the leagues, he gave us some helpful recommendations, and we ended up with a fun time. He pretty much saved our groups evening! We did see them maintaining and oiling the lanes, so you can trust that it is well maintained. They also have a variety of sizes of balls free to use or available for purchase. We can't wait to come back and bowl again! Thanks!
