The theatre is really nice and pricing very reasonable. When you compare the quality of the entertainment with the price, it is really difficult to go to Philly or NYC. OK you will not see Lion King or 1st run Broadway shows but for what is presented and actors are great for a good price.
We don't come here often since we live a distance away, but when we do we are well-pleased. This was The Little Shop of Horrors and they did it well, with some very nice touches. It is a small theater so all of the seats are good. And, it's on the river with nich benches for water and people-watching prior to the show.
Small theatre so all seats are good. Shows are varied for all type of audiences. Summer musicals are excellent.
If you enjoy a night out with live entertainment this is the place to go. Every seat is great, tickets are very affordable and the talent is Incredible. I've seen shows in London, Phila & New York and this 300 seat theater is worth the price of admission. This place is a gem that includes many local restaurants to enjoy before or after the show. Forget the movies for a night & get tickets to live entertainment that will not disappoint.
Not a bad seat in the place. If you are looking for culture in Bristol, PA, come here. The Bristol Riverside Theater also supports various programs to help children and teens. What's not to like about such a great place?
It's hard to believe that this great theater sits on the same site as a notorious porn theater once did but that is where they chose to build this huge asset to the area. This theater has drawn some of the biggest names in show business to the town and as it continues to grow in reputation I'm sure that it will someday supplant the Bucks County Playhouse as a venue that brings first rate plays and entertainment to the area.
This show was fantastic. I didn't want it to end. All the singers were great. Claudia and Anthony are phenomenal. If you ever have a chance to hear Claudia play the violin and Anthony sing, do it.
Wonderful performance of "Pride and Prejudice". The actors are enchanting and mesmerizing. They kept our interest every moment they were on stage. The staff at BRT are friendly, helpful, and there to please the patrons. Parking is right behind the theater and easily accessible. We will definitely go back.
We have been subscribers for many years. We look forward to every season. We've seen some terrific plays, there, over the years. The sets are phenomenal. The actors are all extremely talented. It's an intimate venue. Life would be dull without the Arts. If you haven't, yet, been to the BRT, add it to your bucket list.
nice little theater to go see a show. not a bad seat in the house, and it is small enough that you can see everything that is going on very well. the snacks are ok, and the bathrooms are clean. i would definatly go back to see shows there.
This is a great place to take the kids for a matinee. And a walk along the water afterwards. Small and quaint and the extra special touch from all staff members. Thumbs up!
Bristol, the town, is trying to bring back the charm that is evident beneath the crumble and litter that tarnishes many of its neighborhoods. The setting for the theatre, overlooking the Delaware River amongst some of the prettiest buildings in town, is delightful. And inside one finds a lovingly maintained, intimate venue for community theatre that deserves support. We saw Inherit the Wind, a creative effort that did not disappoint. We were impressed by the economic yet enterprising sets and several of the performances, most notably the actor who plays the part representing Williams Jennings Briant. The Clarence Darrow role, albeit weaker, was also commendable. The theatre sometimes combines shows with a dinner option. Someday we will return to sample the fare!
Got tickets at the last minute to see The Pirates of Penzance. Cute little theater that appeared to have no bad seats. Snack bar offered just enough, bathrooms were clean. Would go back to see more shows!
Almost 5 star performances, giving this slightly lower because of only ONE small bathroom - otherwise nice. Our Red Hat group used to go there!
This was such a great place to see a play! Small and intimate we just loved it. Went there for my birthday then had a late night dinner at The King George next door which was very good. Nice play to enjoy a play without having to go into the city - very scenic with the river behind it.
