Small town atmosphere, great game, small town feel. Fireworks and concert were awesome too! This is for the locals, not hoity toity out of towners that expect everything to be done for them.
Unless you have some history with the ball park, this is just a small town ball park that you can find anywhere in small town America. Good for exercise if you are in it but it is not worth a trip to see.
not a very nice park, looks like a place where a shady drug deal would go down, would never go there again
Small (2,000 seats) baseball stadium in center of Butler, Pa. Great facility, good seats all around, and a fun place to go see some good baseball on a summer night. They host the Bluesox, a team comprised of college kids, and play in a wooden bat league. Some really good players and a lot of fun to watch. Parking a little bit of an issue but not enough to stop one from going.
nicely remodeled, historic park for minor league baseball, including Yankees, Tigers and Pirates. currently home to Frontier League Butler Blue Sox
Pullman Park has it all...Clean, great views(not a bad seat in the park), great staff and fans!!!Lots of history here...deep outfield walls is what makes the park famous...A homerun here is like hitting in the river at PNC Park in Pittsburgh!!!Great family entertainment...Get an autograph here and meet the players before the make to the big leagues!!!
Beautiful stadium that was brought back! Butler so needed this summer family activity. We now have a hometown team called The Blue Soxs.
Historic Pullman Park is a beautiful venue for almost any event. It is the home of the Bluesox baseball team, a prospect league that plays baseball there every summer. I enjoy going to all the games and have also seen concerts and other events at the park. It is truly a great place.
It is always a pleasure to visit Pullman Park for an event. The newly renovated and historic site is intimate, clean and has great lines of sight. Parking is not the greatest. But, overall, this historic ball park never disappoints!
Butler Blue Sox put on a great baseball game. Not quite the majors, but you can't beat the amenities. The Park is a classic park from decades ago that has been modernized. Outfield fences are as deep or deeper than most major league parks. Admission prices are a bargain, food prices are reasonable & their are many promo nights with giveaways. Enjoy this park!
My brother played here when I was growing up so there are a lot of good memories. The park is beautiful and nice to see the Blue Sox play.
Pullman Park is full of history. For example: Many Yankees greats like Lou Gehrig have played there, as it was once a Yankees minor league stadium. If you stop by in Butler, come watch the Bluesox play. It is definitely worth the stop
Went to see a blue sox game here. It was like watching a semi-pro game in almost a private setting. You were a couple of feet away from the players and the field. Cheap and good food and beer. Free parking, Cheap admission. Corny mascots, kids games out on the field in between each inning. Home town Americana at its' best. What a hoot!
Small town and small stadium gives you up close and personal interaction with the teams. Very clean and family oriented with a great concession stand and no drunks swearing or spilling beer on you. Parking is free and it is a great summer evening of entertainment.
I have loved every visit to the historic Pullman Park. From the time I was a child going to watch my brothers play baseball to taking my children to root for their hometown team. Nice place!
